A few questions.
Hello, I'm new here and I would like to ask a few questions.
1.Am I supposed to feel my eyes move? Sometimes I'll start to fall asleep and after a while I will feel my eyes vibrate. I ignored it suspecting this be a side effect of REM sleep, but I dont know.
2.At random times, I'll involentarily take very large and fast breaths. Is this normal?
3.Sometimes my eyes start to drift open. How can I stop this?
Thanks for the help.

1) yes, it's normal, but not REM. When you first fall asleep at night, you aren't going into REM, it's actually just a minor hypnic jerk, your body trying to position itself to get comfortable.
2) yes, the body does what it needs to work at maximum efficiency. Do you snore? It might be your body clearing your airway.
3) a blindfold :P Lots of times when I WILD, I use a blindfold to stop that from happening.
