Hi, and walcome do Dreamviews! :) A good way to start is reading all of the tutorials, or choosing a technique that works best for you. Most start out with what are called DILD, which is easiest for some, and WILD, which is easiest for others. Also, keep a Dream Journal so you can start remembering your dreams. That way, you don't have a LD and then forget it. Most of all, just keep trying. It takes some people a few days before they have their first LD, others it takes a few months. Just don't worry, and don't get too stressful or you will just hurt your chances of having a LD.
P.S. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
yay i had my first LD i think bad recall srry but i know i was in my gym for an assembly and then something kicked in that i was dreaming and i went outside and tryed to fly and failed and thats as far as i can see my dream or at least the in control part after i was fighting with my friend... so yeah i'm not really stressed i'm excited i got that far as too get outside and start jumping up and down also I remember i flew before in dreams but they weren't lucid all I remember is I was flying like 1 foot or 2 off the ground really fast
Start doing a lot more reality checks, they are key for someone starting out. Read the Reality Check and DILD tutorials, they have all the info you'll ever need, and if you need more, you can always post it here on the board :)
