I could really use a brief definition of the following terms. I would really appreciate a literal translation, and a short description. I keep seeing all these around and i need some clarity.

MILD-
Any others i need to know. haha. I know WILD. That's about it.
Also, my description (at left) doesn't show the thanks i've issued. Why is that?
FILD = Finger Induced Lucid Dream
Not sure how well I can explain this one. It's a specific type of WILD. Imagine you're playing the piano (or pressing two keys on a keyboard) with your index and middle finger, alternating between one key and the other. With FILD you want to do that motion as you're falling asleep, but don't actually press down. Think about pressing down really, really lightly, so that you don't actually move but the signal to move is still being sent to your fingers. This is supposed to help keep you aware during your WILD while still letting you fall asleep.
WBTB = Wake Back to Bed
This technique is wonderful. Set an alarm (or use a mantra to wake up naturally) for the middle of the night, usually a multiple of 90 minutes after you've fallen asleep (3, 4.5, or 6 hours). This technique is pretty much what it's called. You wake up, write down your dreams, and go back to bed. Some people like to stay up for a while, while others just go right back to sleep. It depends on how easily you fall asleep. It works best when you combine it with another technique, such as MILD or WILD.
MILD = Mnemonically Induced Lucid Dream
There are two versions of MILD. One involves visualizing yourself lucid in a scene as you're falling asleep. Hopefully your next dream will be in this scene, and as a result you'll become lucid. The other version involves mantras. As you're falling asleep, repeat a saying to yourself such as "I will have a lucid dream" or "I will realize I am dreaming."

Simply recognizing the dream is a dream in the midst of it playing out.
REM Rebound=
Mentioned earlier, REM rebound is a situation where regular REM sleep is interrupted, delayed or otherwise inhibited and is therefore returned multi-fold during the next sleep cycle, causing a longer and more intense REM period.
REM (REM-Sleep)= Rapid Eye Movement.
Its a phase of the sleep cycle. Roughly every 90 minutes during the sleep cycle the body enters the REM phase. It is named due to the physical display of the eyes moving rapidly behind the eye-lids. During this phase the brain is in its most intense and active part of the sleep cycle. This results in increased vividness and clarity in dreams.
