Since then it's been more of a passing interest and second thought, but after going through a somewhat rough patch of life I was almost forced to come back to the idea of understanding dreams because I simply didn't know what to make of them anymore. During this period of time I would have these very real, very vivid and sometimes lucid dreams that seemed to pour out into my everyday life. Without understanding what these scenes meant, and why my psyche played through these imaginations, I had to ask what the meaning of it all was and how could I make the best of it. First, I could start by understanding - by compressing and condensating aspects of my dreams - and applying them to real world manifestations. Then, once I could do that, I figured I might as well enjoy them by learning to simply control, in part, how to manage those dream states by becoming lucid at will! It all sounds good in theory, but I'm really not very good at all yet, although I hope to be soon with the help of everyone here on the DV! :)
