A Greeting to All
I am Red Sash, as you can see. I have known about lucid dreaming for a few months but have been met with limited success. While looking up information on sleep I stumbled across this site and it looks like exactly what I need at the moment. *enter crisis*
It is very difficult for me to discuss this, as I am a very conservative and reserved person, but I need some advice. Lately I have been having some less-than-desirable dreams where my dream is in direct conflict with the values of my waking life. I will tell you of my most recent:
After several events had taken place, I found myself (as a man) in a room with a lady who wished to make love to me. Such being the manifestation of my subconscious I grew to share the desire; however, we were interrupted before anything happened. So, we traveled to another room and, to ensure privacy, I (still as a man) said things in the manner of, "I wish there were a door here!" and a door appeared, though in the wrong location. Then I wished for another door just next to it but one did not appear. So I wished for a wall and as I swept my hand across the open air one appeared, effectively shutting out my two pursuers. Inside the room, the lady was laying on a couch, both of us ready to satisfy our desires. I was just about to turn the light off, but I woke up.
In each of those types of dreams where I wish to pursue my desires but they never truly come to fruition, thankfully. I set myself to fairly rigid moral standards, especially when it pertains to the subject mentioned. They are annoying to me, especially when I wake up and the desire is still set-in. Would anyone have any advice? I'm sure that lucid dreaming would help, but it doesn't aid me when I can't achieve lucidity.
Thank you.

Welcome to DreamViews, Sashie!
May I suggest one of these as your avatar? (The second one is within the limits, but I can adjust the first one if you like.)

Many of us often find that, not having our Lucid Dreaming skills honed, that we are so close to mastery, yet fall short of fulfilling our unconscious desires...may I suggest the Tutorials section as well as Lucid Experiences and Attaining Lucidity?
Hope to see you around!
Just call me Ramu ^_^

Welcome to DV, Red Sash. I hope you enjoy your time here and find everything you need :P
I think she means that she doesn't want to have these thoughts.... Right? If so, I'm not sure how to help you.

Very well. They that are in charge may remove me from this site as no one will provide me the information I request. Amethyst Star was correct in her assumptions, but was not able to assist me.
Farewell

Nobody, not even yourself, can stop you from feeling what you feel (well, not without serious mental health consequences, anyway). You have to learn to accept these things about yourself, and perhaps bend your belief system a bit -- after all, at least IMO, it's your (waking) actions that define your morality, not your subconcious thoughts and desires.
