New here!
I've heard about this site for quite some time and have been interested in achieving lucidity in dreams for quite some time too, but have not done anything about it.
I just had a very vivid lucid dream today (it is 7:30AM here now) without training at all, which astounds me (I did do the "check the clock, check the mirror method" in the dream, however). It was a false awakening, and quite scary at first, but turned out to be great! If anyone is interested, I plan to post my journal on this site. It is a little disjointed, as I was trying to get all I could down before I started to forget.
Anyway, glad to be on here!

Hey there augmatic! Welcome to DV! :D
If you are new to lucid dreaming I strongly suggest you check out the tutorials found on this site.
Seems like you're on the right track already! Fire up a dream journal! It helps with recall!

Already done! I typed out the dream like 5 minutes after I woke up. I didn't want to forget anything, but even then, there were one or two things I was lost on, but I don't think that I knew them when I woke up.
My DJ is posted, and thanks for the welcome!

Now that I think about it, could the point where I saw the shifting comic strips (??), purple colors and statics have been when I was still awake? This part seemed so real, and I wonder if it as the moments just before a dream. Can anyone clarify?
EDIT: You'd have to read my journal post to understand what I'm talking about, haha.
