I'm new to the forums... I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea by a sleep doctor. Does anyone know if this will help with LD's, or make it harder/impossible?
Hmmm.... I'm honestly not sure because I don't really know anyone with sleep apnea, or have it myself....
But in what I've heard it can be very painful and frighting while it happens in something like Sleep Paralysis. Which of course, makes sense considering sleep apnea happens when your body is asleep- like sleep paralysis. It might also really suck when you are aware for the LD, assuming the apnea could easily disrupt the your concentration.
But once again, I've really haven't read that much about Sleep apnea, and I'm pretty sure it can be a dangerous matter in some cases.
I'd really just recommend you'd ask a doctor, or therapist who knows about these things instead of asking around forums where you might come across a newbie answer like mine, and put your body in to unneeded stress or danger :p
But anyhow, best of luck man! LDs aren't something you'd want to miss.
Hope everything works out, and that my answer didn't scare or annoy you that bad.
not at all, thanks for the reply. im not sure how long i've had sleep apnea, but it has never caused me any pain, and i've only awoken with sleep paralysis once and it was only for a couple seconds. but i've never tried to have an LD, so that might cause problems...
Yeah... I really don't know how severe your case is. So whateves.
My guess is- if you have no problems so far, keep going.
well i've only been trying for LD's for 2 nights now... so since i haven't really tried any specific methods, idk what will happen
