Hi Dreamers! I finally joined!

I have been following Lucid Dreaming and this forum in particular for about 6 months now. I LOVE the WILD method, and I even made a personal tutorial for it on Word! I have done it successfully twice, and both LD's were about 4 minutes long. It's a start!

I am so happy to have registered! I keep a dream journal on my iPhone and already, in 5 months, (the other month was written in a physical journal, but was a hassle and took longer) I have about 36 dream recalls, not including my two LD's. I hope with advice from my fellow dreamers, I can get more successful WILDs.

Now that school and camp is done with, I can WILD nearly every day! I can't wait! So I just wanted to come here to vent my accomplishments! Thanks for being the basis of my motivation! I hope to someday in the future share a dream with my friends. That will make my life worth it. And I am pretty young, so I have good time.

Congratulations on the 2 WILD's, good start. I have yet to even attempt a WILD myself, but I'm sure I'll love it once I try it. Good luck with having more lucid dreams. Make sure to visit all the stickies and tutorials on here (I'm sure you already have.) Sooner or later a very informative person will post in here.

It's good to know you've already got a nice head start and have even had success with WILDs (the hardest technique IMO)

Seems like your dedicated, so it'll be good to have you around :D

@ SteadyState: you really think they are the hardest? hm. I think I find them most effective cause I pretty much understand the way it works. That's how my brain works. I figured out the basic mechanics and the rest was easy. I can't believe it's really you! I actually have seen you around and you seem to know a lot about this stuff!

Yeah, WILDs definitely make sense to me and I have a pretty decent grasp on them by now, I think they might be my favorite too. It did take me longer to get a WILD than to get a DILD though.
I do think that WILDs are more difficult for beginner LDers to get the hang of though...

I tried the DILD method before. I used to do Reality Checks a lot; I did it so much my friends kept asking me "why are you holding your nose?" haha. I even had a lot of dreams where I knew I was dreaming, but it never clicked in my brain that I could do anything! I just think they arent my style. *shrug*

I like how WILDs let you start from scratch. teehee.

Haha, luckily one of my friends used to really be into LDing and we'd reality check together :P
And yeah, WILDs are awesome. Possibilities are endless hehe.

Hah! My friend Devin and I started writing "reality check!" on our books so we'd remember in class. She used to count her fingers like I did, and then shed perform this RC she invented where she flicked her throat to see if it'd hurt. It got to the point where our other friends David and Dylan would say "oops! Reality check!" and laugh at when shed flick herself. Those were the days. I only ever RC anymore in WILDs.

Hahaha, that's really cool. Seems like you have a lot of friends interested in LDing, which is an awesome motivation to keep it up.
I've only known one or two people who I'd talk about LDing with frequently haha, wish there were more dreamers around here :P

Welcome Angel! I'm glad you finally decided to join us. I am fairly new so I don't have much to share. Although, I want to wish you the best of luck in having LD's!!!!

And the best of luck to you, mah friends. Maybe when We master the WILD we can try out shared dreaming. This is something I want to look into.

Welcome, and congratulations on the WILDs. I'm interested in SDs too, but first I Have to master the WILD, learn to stabilize my dreams, and gain some experience...

So Angel, have you read the tutorial on shared dreaming? ;)

Yes I have. I want to finalize my WILD method before I get to testing SD. :3
