Inflammated tendon in my right arm

I play bass a lot and about 5 weeks ago I was practising a song called "Right on Time" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, but that bassline is really fast and requires a lot of power in your fingers.

So I practised that song for like 2 hours with my band (along with some other songs) and a few hours later I felt my lower arm was aching. I gave it a few weeks rest but 2 weeks ago it got really bad. I went to the doctor the next day and he told me it was inflammated and told me to give it some rest and gave me some Diclofenac.

The diclofenac caused me stumach aches so I stopped taking it (after calling the doc, ofcourse) and it seemed to have healed friday.

Because I thought it healed after giving it a month rest I tried playing bass yesterday. It went great! I didn't feel anything for about 30 minutes and then I felt a really soft sting for a nanosec so I decided to stop. I went to bed an hour later and I was text messaging someone and I suddenly I felt a reallly painful sting in my wrist and I really thought my tendon snapped so I immediatly checked if I could still move my fingers (it scared the crap out of me), but I could still move all my fingers, though they immediatly felt stiff and painfull.

I thought it was over... :\ I'll give it another 2 weeks rest. I really love playing bass, it's my biggest hobby.. I almost cried when I realized I wouldn't be able to play bass for another long time..
