Thread: Anyone else hate these commercials?

I hate that one about the company that helps people negotiation their debt with the IRS. And that one family goes, "We owed 3 million dollars, and we only payed 1 million." Every time I see that I am like, "What the, who owes the IRS 3 million dollars!" Is the commercial targeting the average American or the mob?

Haha yeah... As if a lot of people who watches this commercial have that kind of money.

I like calibre of commercial complexity you seem to have over there...

KitKat ad: some people buy KitKats and eat them.

And to think that someone, somewhere is receiving £500,000 a year to come up with this stuff.

99% of all commercials are irritating. Advertising needs to die in a fire.

Now, I don't mind commercials at all. Some are annoying, yes, but mostly they're just background noise.

Having said that; louie, your rant about the Kit Kat commercial made me laugh SO hard because of one thing; it's not random sounds. They're all crunching and making the vending machine beep like that so it makes the tune of the Kit Kat jingle. Not trying to make you feel bad of anything, but I thought everyone knew that. XD (Well, Americans anyway.)

I agree, they can be quiet annoying, but you ever stop to think, maybe, just maybe that's the point? Commercials are about making you think about the product, even unconsciously. So your more likely to buy them, or consider them. Think of it like this, a funny/annoying commercial is the most likely to stick in your head, and it's a whole lot easier to make an annoying commercial, than a genuinely funny one. Just a thought. I could just be pullin crap outta my butt, but hey, it's my theory. ^_^

there aren't too many commercials I don't hate.

I saw Robert Gant in an olive garden commercial. it made me laugh.

Ugh, in Australia we used to get these HIDEOUS ads for bargain basement crap or warehouses etc. ... I'm telling you, the only thing that would happen was a man that YELLED at you, literally for 30 seconds like someone forgot to press the CAPSLOCK OR SOMETHING.. $2.00! $2.00 GETINQUICKBEFOREIEXPLODEUFOIDOOKHP!!!$^#$!51#71H

That is so old. You are right though, there will always be bad commercials, but sometimes you see some very elaborate commercials, I think.

Not that I would ever consider buying Milwaukee's Best ever, ever. But these commercials offended me in a very personal way.


I guess it makes sense though; foul, tasteless advertising for foul, tasteless beer.

Lol, nah I get it that it's suppose to be like a jingle. But to me, it's just noise haha.

Oh, and here's a commercial that I actually thought was cool, but cool commercials are rare... It was for Linkin Park's Meteora album. They need to make more like this.

The kitkat one bugs me. At least they could use other no-name brand of chocolate bars, but they decide to be obnoxious and only put kitkat ones in. Nobody cares, it just looks stupid!

The koodo commercials are annoying because they play non-stop.

Don't let it get to you. Sure, every once in a while some small thing is going to hit some personal strings, but if every insensitive thing on the air that you relate to offends you, you are in for a tough time.

Yeah, my mom can't stand those beer commercials. I don't get the Capt. Morgan thing myself, but I guess it gets you to remember their product when you're shopping.
