      Dogs' reactions to kissing?

Has anyone experienced a dog having a strange reaction to people kissing?

When I was little and my parents would kiss, my dog would run up to them, tail wagging, and try to lick their mouths.

My boyfriend and I kissed around my dog a couple years ago, and every time we did she'd turn around and sniff some random object, feigning interest in it, as though she's embarrassed to have seen.

Then my boyfriend's dog at his house would bark like crazy and growl and try to attack me.

Are these dogs strange or do other dogs react similarly?

It's like that with sex too (although to a higher degree). It has something to do with them being territorial, your boyfriend's dog was probably trying to let you know that your boyfriend was "his/hers." Some dogs go as far as to hump their owner's leg after they've done the grown-folk with someone. Your dog might have been submitting to your boyfriend if she backed off like that.

My dog attacks when he sees people hugging/kissing/ etc, because he thinks they're fighting I guess.

i kiss my dog.. maybe the reason that my dog doesnt act weird is because the attention is on him or her (I have 2 dogs a boy and a girl)

      Same here
Last night I dreamed I ate a ten-pound marshmallow, and when I woke up the pillow was gone.

Both of my parents' dogs freak out if they ever see anyone hugging. They don't attack necessarily, but they bark ferociously until the hugging ceases.
