Drano fumes
The water wasn't draining properly in the bathtub so my sister used some Drano crystals to unclog the pipe a few minutes ago. After pouring some water down the drain, some metal shavings/fragments came up and we got some fumes coming up now. I turned the fan on, opened the window, and shut the bathroom door but we can still kinda smell it. I've even opened the window in this room and the one in the kitchen but I'm not sure if I should do anything else. Worst case scenario, what should I do?
Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

Well I don't think it is really an issue. The cleaner will create fumes. What I would do is buy one of those zip stick drain cleaners. They are long plastic tools that have angled teeth to bring up hair and other blockages. If you are still worried just call a plumber to come check it out. I don't think you are in any danger.

That's good. :P The fumes were just a lot stronger than usual so I got a little concerned. I flushed it with cold watter for a bit and they're almost gone now.

Personally, I like the smell of rubbing alcohol and gasoline fumes myself. Hadn't tried Drano though.
