No. It makes you very, very lonely. |

You know, like when people go crazy. |

Surrender your flesh. We demand it.
Why do you want to have voices in your head describing personal thoughts? I don't think it's insane if there's something you reasonably think you might get out of it. |
|
It's not too weird imo. When I was younger, I wanted to be unstable just so I could be more like one of my favorite artists. |
|
You are perfectly normal. The words you did not want to hear. |
|
You're not crazy. Perhaps you want this as an aspirational thing - your idols have talked about experiences Perhaps you want to feel less average. Lord knows that's a very average teenage thing, ironically. There's many possibilities. |

Kind of, yes. |

Then no, there's nothing wrong with that. Just get into the habit of internally talking to this imaginary persona and it'll eventually become second-nature. |

its only weird if you think its weird..... |

Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake
Au contraire. Other people's opinions will affect it too. |

So if you're trying the advice given, make sure you keep your imagined voices positive and inspirational. Don't allow yourself to use the voice to insult yourself or anything, because that could turn out bad and not yield the results you want (to gain inspiration, get second opinions on things). |

What if a person was actually schizophrenic but didn't know about it because the voices in their head were deaf, and hence those voices never learned how to speak. The voices might actually be making hand gestures inside the person's head, but he/she would have no clue. |

Maybe, but it seems like whatever is subconsciously going on to make someone hear voices, it happens because the subconscious knows that the conscious mind is going to hear it. In other words, the reason the subconscious creates the voices is so that the consciousness will hear them. It seems this is true, but might be wrong, I'm not sure why. |

Yrah. I don't think that was particularly clear, Dianeva, but my take on it is that the subconscious produces voices because voices are our accepted means of communication, and often our means of internal self-communication. The subconscious would just use whatever your internal voice is; English, French, ASL, dog barks. |

It sounds more like you want an entourage of advisors to follow you around. |

If all you want is to gain new perspectives why do you need voices? It seems like you want to gain these perspectives without doing any work. It's easy to have other people tell you things. You could just try asking yourself questions...what would happen if i did it this way instead? why am i doing this? is this right, why or why not? answer your own questions and then find more to answer. It takes some practice to be able to do this efficiently and effectively but you will come out knowing so much more about yourself and more confident in your decisions. |

I think that's a great response, Shwaleti. |
