I just played like 4 hours of Super Meat Boy and now I'm seeing little meat wads jumping off the lines in the posts that I'm reading. It's kinda funny. I've also had it with Super Smash Bros. in the past. Has anybody else ever experience the tetris effect?

Yeah, I've gotten it with minesweeper and tetris, and I've also gotten it with math or physics homework, and a few times I've gotten it really badly with computer programming. It takes over my thoughts, I can't think about anything else, my mind continuously makes up these stupid situations that I feel genuinely stressed about and have to remind myself they aren't real every few seconds. It takes over my thoughts before sleep and my dreams. It hasn't happened in a while.
Yes, gotten if after entire weekends of Halo or Madden.
Yeah, I get a mild version of this pretty often. When I get into something I usually go all the way. These past few days I've been thinking of and seeing and explaining waves wherever I go.
I got it with Medival total war 2, it was driving me insane, I couldn't think aout anything but that game while falling asleep.
