Why is everyone on here so early?

Isn't the prime time to go on a lucid dreaming forum at night? Even on any other forum, I'd expect around 7pm-12am or so to be the time everyone is finished their work, school, homework, other daily activities, and decides to make some forum posts. How come for hours during this time there are almost no posts in my subscribed threads, and then when I sleep and wake up, there are like 50 new posts, usually made between like 5am and 8:30am? Why are people even up so early, especially considering the largest age group on this site consists of teenagers, who are known for sleeping in? What is going on? This honestly confounds me.

Different time zones probably, but I'd expect the same. I only really log on at night when I've finished what I'm supposed to do. Though I've got homework to do currently that I should be getting on with...

The time zone thing might make sense, but it seems like most people are American or Canadian, so they could only be 3 hours ahead of me at the most (maybe not, I don't pay much attention to the flags).

WBTB might make sense too.

I have always been driven to accomplish something. Things others just don't care about, they don't understand. A lot of people know me, but we have nothing in common. They call me by name, but I could not tell you who they were. I have always craved just one friend, a mate. I hate being here, I hate the loss of time I spend here, I get so worked up because I am not making any progress on my projects. Damn, it is hard just to share one idea. I envy those who share a life.

I'm in Germany, so 9 hours ahead of you. When you are sleeping (and hopefully dreaming!), I'm on here. There are quite a few Euro-peeps on this forum me thinks.

I'm a night owl.
My kids don't like going to school and it's easier for me to stay up late than wake up early, so I tend to go to sleep by 9AM and I'm up by 4PM.
When I'm awake I'm either here, playing facebook games, Runescape or Everquest.

Well DV is full of people from all over the world, so mostly likely, time zones. Also, maybe some insonmia. I come on sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night, what else is there to do? Infomercials? No thanks.

Time zones is most likely reason. Although I'm pretty much on here all day coz I work later and not for very long hours lol
Plus everything people mentioned about no life etc except I'm not a teenager.

I don't think any teenager has a life apart from school and maybe the occasional gig. Or maybe that's just me?

My day usually consists of going to school and frying my brain, pissing about with friends for a little bit, then coming home and studying/cooking. Oh the joys of life.

I have to get up for school at about 7:00, and I have spare time in the morning to check up on the forum. I also go on at night.

I guess that's where I differ. When I have to wake up early for school or work, I have no spare time. I tend to sleep late, and have such trouble waking up, I tend to reset my alarm clock until the last minute, then rush get ready. I have no time leisure before leaving. When I was a teenager, I thought my night-owlness was a teenage thing, and that I'd be better adjusted later in life, but I'm not (yet).
