I just tried to convince myself to watch "Smallville" The show about Superman in his adolescent years...

I can't tell you how much this show sucks...There is NOTHING they got right apart from the names maybe!

I have a GIANT canker sore on the inside of my mouth just in that area where you'd put dip. I have a smaller one on my tongue, I have a splitting headache, and I felt nauseous last night. My lips are also very cracked right now and I even split my bottom lip this morning trying to check my canker sore.

shit I hope I don't get one, sounds like an epidemic!

The noise continued today...all day.

My neighbor...the one cutting tile with a saw....well, it sounded like he had forgotten to wet the saw today, and it was screaming in angry protest. This set off the dog across the street, which barked long after the sawing stopped.

Is it wrong to want a peaceful day?

Oh, almost forgot...the girls who stand outside my house after 8:30A.M. and wait for the bus to the girls' school, I really appreciated your little out-of-tune, lack-of-melody concert this morning. I'm not sure which three of you it was but I sincerely hope the band director at your school teaches you what those instruments are for, because I'm pretty sure this neighborhood is now missing some cats.

My mouth is hurting too :c it's my braces though. They're DIGGING in one small spot that has like 3 different sharp things poking out of it. Allll month.

I have an exammm tomorrow also. Not even something I can (pretend to) study for. I hope it goes okay. Time for sleep soon.

I am just complaining because i want to cut my nails and everything has been boxed away. It is getting too long for comfort >_>

I am very fortunate in that I've only had a few canker sores my entire life. My mom and youngest son get them ALL the time though. I always have orajel ready.

My rant: My fingers are intensely sore and my brain is fried...
After my successful repair of the router power cord, my son brought a PS3 controller. The puppy had chewed through cords several weeks ago.

Once I got the large plastic bit cut from around the cord, I found a covering of what looked like angel-hair-fine threads covering 4 colored wires. I worried right away that they were important, but I just cut them away.
Then I had to strip the plastic coating off of the colored wires. Easier said than freagin done. Those wires were tiny and very fragile. After the coating was stripped, the "wires" seemed more like 6 individual threads. Oops... do I REALLY need 6 of those threads How about just 2
But I was on a mission at that point and kept on. Then I discovered I didn't really need to so slowly peel the plastic coating. If I made a grove on either side, I could just pull it off. Oops... I cut the wire instead of making a groove... had to redo those 4 wires so they were relatively the same length.

FINALLY! All the coatings were off, so I tackled the green first, giving no thought as to which order I should be going in. I wrapped the threads from the green wires in an over/under fashion. I used electrical tape to further attach/secure the green wires.
Oops.. Green is in the center of the others. Oh fricken well. I then took another color, wrapped and then taped it around the green. Then the next one to the other 2 and so on. Those last wires were "twist tied". I thought for sure, the green one would be faulty.
I told my son if the controller managed to short circuit the PS3, I didn't want to hear him whine about it I also told him not to get his hopes up.
Then he plugged it in and after almost 1 1/2 hours, I GOT IT WORKING AGAIN!!! Perfectly.

I also discovered some good things about myself.
I'm usually a little jittery. While working, my hands were very steady. I was also VERY focused and I usually bemoan my lack of an attention span now-a-days
Also, my only tool was an x-acto blade. It's rectangular and the end is the blade. But it dulled very quickly. I spent an easy 20 minutes, looking throughout my room for more blades. I also wanted the holder for the blades, thinking it would make the task easier. I found 2 old angled blades, but that was it. So I used those.
It's very interesting and (?) a good sign that I couldn't find them. As a self-injurer, I've always had those things easily at hand. But I've not felt the need for them in so long that I've misplaced them
(I use the flat one to break off pieces of wax for my necklace and the old ones were used to cut stuff like plastic or food bags so I wouldn't use them on myself but couldn't bring myself to throw them away).

All in all, I've had a very good evening.
So, my rant turned into an Anti-Rant

I'm trying to order a few herbs from my herb site and it's glitching, it won't let me log in to check out.

I walked in the dark...and still have nothing interesting to say.

I wasted like....1-2 hours trying to make a colored gif of the avatar I have now...I managed to get it to a small size, but now when I try to change it, even though this one was 900kb at first (which magically converted to 200kb) JUST FINE....it doesn't want to accept the colored version of this avatar.


FUCKING BULLSHIT, I wasted ALL THAT FUCKING TIME TO GET "the 300kb" file you uploaded exceeds the 200kb.

Grrr that was seriously the worst pain ever. It was like a week straight right when they put them on, I had multiple ulcers in my mouth, it was so raw and bled. It was painful to talk/eat/open my mouth >____> I feel ya. The back band things are what hurt a lot :c (there is like cleats on the inside of my mouth)

I though I scheduled a payment for my credit card. But I went online to check, and it didn't have anything in the "pending payments" section. So I thought maybe I forgot or didn't finish setting it up... so I made another one.

Today I checked my bank account to find out I made two $200 payments to my credit card. Ah well, I suppose it's not all bad. Might as well get the damn thing payed off anyway (I hate using it, but I was impatient and wanted my bike right at the start of the season). Worst case scenario--I have $200 cash I was planning on using elsewhere, but I can toss it in the bank if I need help with the bills. I should be fine though.

Why must all of the psychoactive solanaceous plants be so fascinating, and yet so terrible for you? For me, they're just the most appealing group of psychoactives. Sexy, powerful, alluring... but I'm far too concerned about my own health to take them. (...Anymore. )

For those who have no idea what the hell a solanaceous plant is, they include datura, brugmansia, belladonna, henbane, mandrake, and all types of tobacco.... Also, petunias, tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, and chili peppers, but those aren't psychoactive. They all kill you in pretty terrible ways if you overdose on them and they all take a heavy toll on your mind if you use them too much (especially the tropane-containing ones, which can easily drive you insane), but their effects are just so satisfying.... (In my opinion, anyway.) I just read about tree tobacco, or Nicotiana glauca. It wasn't bad enough that I don't smoke anymore anyway, life just had to throw this one in my face. Its main chemical constituent is anabasine rather than nicotine, but it works on the same receptors. It's apparently more of a downer nicotine that lasts longer and is more stoning, from the very small amounts of reports I could find, and possibly more hallucinogenic, while still somehow definitely feeling like it's in the same class of drugs as nicotine. Most websites claim that it "was considered the most powerful of the Nicotiana species." (Even stronger than Nicotiana rustica? One cigarette of that stuff was like ten normal cigarettes in one with a shamanic edge....)

How am I supposed to live without experiencing these wonderful plants, especially this new "strongest" tobacco?

Aly, I somewhat know how you feel. My favorite flower in the entire world is the Mimosa. Then I learned you can trip from the root bark (I think it was called ?) I see the trees here and there and I want so desperately to try making myself a tea or something. But I lack the guts *sigh*

My rant of the day, so far, is a headache. I woke up at 6AM from a bad dream, recorded in in my DJ, thought about going out for a Coke, but just went back to sleep until around 11AM. I woke up to this headache. I went and got my Coke.. and 2 packs of smokes for the day I spent $30. on e-cig stuff but I woke up wanting a real cigarette. And you can't stop smoking in the middle of the day, but I wont go through 2 packs before falling asleep which means I'll start tomorrow with 1/2 a pack so I'll have to buy another one to get through tomorrow

I also had to smoke a Wolf Spider out of my car. He's been in there for at least 3 days because I've seen some webbing throughout that time. But when I started the car today, sucker was aggressive. It's the first time I've seen him. He kept going in and out a vent and I kept telling him to chill. I did NOT want that sucker jumping on me while I drove lol
He hid, for the most part, on the way home. Anytime I brought paper toward him, he hid. So I put my cigarette behind him until the smoke drove him out. He jumped onto the door, which was then open, and fell to the ground. YAY, Mr. Spider. He was probably so aggressive because he was starving to death. I just truly hope it WAS a Mr. and I don't have an egg sac hiding somewhere!!!

Oh man, I know what you mean, about cleats in your mouth too lol. The first week was definitely the worst. I'm glad I'm more than half done with them.

Ah yeah, mimosa hostilis root bark. Well, I can't blame you, DMT is really intense. I've smoked it before, but not made the brew.... It actually requires another plant to activate it that way, too.

I feel for you. Quitting is tough, and I didn't smoke as much as you. Have you cut down your normal daily amount at all?
