Great going fOrceez!!
Ophelia, I just say whatever pops out lol. My kids used to always get annoyed with me because whenever we were all out and there was traffic or something, I'd bark "Halt!" instead of stop :chuckle:
I tend to say things instinctually and to get their immediate attention.
I still don't completely understand the "Halt" vs "Stop" thing though. They're both the same length, but halt just comes out more easily :?
My buzz is wearing off.
Just once, I would like to have a night like tonight but without having to worry also about my kids' homework, pets, clothes, or whether or not they are clean.
In short, I want a night off. Just one.
Good job, fOrceez! I remember when I started driving by myself. It wasn't until five years later that I got my license. ;)
Congrats fOrceez. =D

"Go downstairs"
"I will..."
This kid has 5 minutes before I throw him out the window. >_>
Ugh... my oldest son is DV stalking me  He quoted my signature to me and I knew where he got it. I told him that unless he wanted to know all my embarrassing and dirty little secrets he'd stay away from DV or face the possibility of being traumatized for the rest of his life
ANd then I told him I'd stop buying him smokes
I was famished after my busy day. I sat down to watch some Hulu and eat a snack and before I knew it, I had eaten an entire 3 oz bag of TGI Friday's Onion Rings ("Chips"). :bang:
Then I went to take a shower and most painfully stubbed by last 3 toes. What the heck lol.
But now, I'm enjoying my LAST cigarette and getting ready for bed :)
Sweet dreams, DV.
I keep noticing all these cool little moments that happen in life and how rare they happen, and wonder if I will ever have them again.
Also, my stomach aches for buckets of food.
Wow, it was awfully loud at freaking 11:57PM here at College Station,
AND it's NOT EVEN A FUCKING FRIDAY PEOPLE, AT LEAST BE LOUD ON FRIDAY NIGHTS...
just peeked out the window to see all these girls in short skirts with guys, probably headed for the bars up front near where I live.....look at them....having fun......damn it.
And here I am locking myself worrying about finals, and hoping to start studying tomorrow.
Eh, just fucking deal with it Link, you piece of shit.
hey, it's 4/20... expect a little extra rowdiness especially around colleges.
er actually, if everyone was celebrated 4/20 properly, that wouldn't be too rowdy after all. :-?
Grrr... I can't sleep. I have the heebeejeebies. I laid down at 1:30 and just daydreamed, then I felt a crawling sensation along the waist of my PJ shorts. I thought it was a flea, so I just reached down and plucked it, but it was bigger and hard bodied. I figured it was a tick. Without thinking I made a poor attempt of throwing it. Ugh... gotta sleep, I kept thinking.
So I ignored the bug and tried sleeping. Nope, just daydreams. Then I asked my boy to turn on my light. I searched my bed but didn't see anything.
Ok, all is well. I daydreamed some more then felt a tickle on my arm. Grrr... I reached down and plucked it. Hard bodied again. I SET it on my blanket then asked my son to turn on my light once again.
Low and behold, there was the tick.
Or was it? Did it have a friend? :bang: Sonny disposed of the bugger but there will be no sleep for me tonight. I'll wash my bed clothes first thing in the morning
Bad thing about walking through hay/tall grass :(
@ Ophie
Kinda late reply here, but about your rant about Chris and Devon
My mum teaches primary (elementary) school kids at a pretty rubbish school, and all the kids who are problems like Devon (hitting other kids/teachers or with learning difficulties) have horrible home lives with parents who either don't care or aren't around. It's just crazy how much an unstable family and home surrounding can destroy a kid's development. Hearing my mum's stories is just heartbreaking, because the problem kids have such a tough time and obviously have to be punished, but really it's their parents who are mostly at fault.
Glad Chris is OK though... Sounds like he has moxy...
I hate ticks. Nasty little things. I've been fortunate enough to not find one on me yet, and I'm hoping to keep it that way. I hope you don't find any more ticks, Zhaylin.
I'm watching Ju-on currently--the original Grudge from Japan. Don't know why I'm doing this to myself. I hate watching scary movies alone. I have a pillow for company currently.
Wolfwood... do you think you could try to double, tripple and quadruple post a bit less? It's slowly driving me insane.
A few years ago I was hiking across Scotland with some friends, and somehow I got a tick attached to me on my inner thigh... Despite my friends gallantly trying to twist it out (the recommended method of removal), then cut it out (fairly painful), then burn it out (also quite painful), it wouldn't budge. Luckily at that point in our hike, we were near Aviemore, which has a surgery. Thanks to the excellent public health service in the UK, I turned up at the surgery and I only needed to provide my adress before they surgically removed it and sent me on my way... Took ten minutes from going in the door to leaving.
Anyway don't get a tick bite...
uuuuuuhhhhh... i hate ticks. the idea of them grabbed onto you and digging in you... dammit... hate that........ screw you guys. :cheeky:
o.O Shoot. That tick was a determined little devil. I thought you weren't suppose to twist the tick? Twisting it can cause the head to be left in your skin.
I've never heard of a tick so unwilling to come out. I'm glad you finally managed though. Removing the tick is bad enough, but I also have heard terrible stories about lyme disease. That's a pain to treat. Lyme disease or the effects of it can last for years.
I talked to the doctor in Aviemore a lot about ticks, and she said that twisting was the best method of removal because it had the best chance of taking the head with it. She said that pulling it directly out usually left the head in. She also said that burning it usually just makes it die but throw up its insides, so you still have it stuck in you and you have an infection as well.
She also told me that Lyme disease was pretty much no longer around in Scotland though.
But yeah she did say that she hadn't come across many ticks as determined as mine was.
I've been getting progressively sicker the last few days and today's no exception. :( I can barely breath through my nose and my eyes are so itchy that it I rub them it hurts and if I don't then they immediately tear up. Ehhh. Now I'm nauseous my limbs are sore too. :damnit:
It could be worse, but it's the first time I've been appreciably sick in a while. :/
^^^Did you ever sleep, Wolfwood?
I think I'm hungry...but I'm not certain.
It's bothering me.
Oddly, it's more in my mind than the funeral I am attending tomorrow.
Is that bad?
Biological needs first before going into actual higher thinking, no, there's nothing wrong with that.
When I'm hungry, I don't even care who is around me, I just need to eattttt.
I'm going to eat now. I need food.
BTW, no idea what you posted in the image thread. Is it actually an image?
