Honestly, that smilie's the best I can do right now. I mean, I could try and give some "advice" or thoughts, from my own POV. But I don't know if you're looking for that or if you just needed to vent. I mean that's what this thread is all about. Still, I hope you find that you can be happy and enjoy all sorts of things there are to enjoy.
But I will say this. The people you choose to keep in your life should be ones that add to it, not those that take away. The even tougher challenge is letting yourself do things even through the fear of how people perceive you. There's something like an inverse to this. The less you care how people see you (without the reason being their opinions suck or anything else that's negative), the more you are yourself (having fun and enjoying life freely and openly), the more people tend to value you and have fun as a result. In my perspective, it's a process of growth. :)
Been through something like this myself. Tends to give you an ugly perception of the world- it did for me. Didn't like it, so I started changing it. :D
