I'm introverted, have my own schedule, and work weird hours. So when people want to go out or do something, I just ask that we plan ahead. Don't let me know the day of, or a few hours prior; give me like 2-3 days notice. That's reasonable, right?
Cause I don't get why it seems most people can't abide to that. One guy in particular, I've told him on several occasions to let me know ahead of time since he has a bad habit of basically texting me, "Hey we're at so-and-so right now. I should have told you last week, but... you coming or what?"
After hanging out a bit a little while ago, I said again to let me know about stuff two or so days ahead so I an adjust my schedule. He finds out his work schedule on the weekends, so he said he could let me know then if he's free during the week. Two weeks and I never heard from him. Then Sunday around 3pm (I'm asleep at this time), he messages me asking if I can jam Sunday night. So basically when I wake up, I see "You want to jam [right now]?" I work Sunday night and live over an hour away from this guy.
See, I try to not be anti-social, but it's easier to just say fuck it and do my own thing.
