Yeah but the dentist maintains them etc. Plus I bet they do get paid to refer to a certain orthodontist rather than others. Some of them anyway, some would probably refer to the good ones.

I like decaf. No shakes, stress from too much caffeine and it tastes good sometimes lol Some taste horrible though.

I'm an idiot.
I took one caffeine pill very early in the day. I still slept until 4 and I was falling asleep this evening but I had to take my boys some food. At around 10PM, I popped 2 caffeine pills on my way to the Farm. Half way there I got really hot, felt dizzy-ish and finally figured out why: caffeine overdose. But wth? I take 2 at a time at least a couple times a week any more. Then it hit me. I hadn't had anything substantial to eat all day. I tried to eat some Spaghetti-Oh's and Meatballs but it was so acidic I couldn't even finish half the can. I tried to eat some broccoli, cauliflower and carrots with cheese, but I had no appetite. In fact, I had only had maybe 1/2 a can of Coke to drink all day until my drive to the Farm, at which point I had bought a 52 ounce Fountain Coke.

I pulled over to the side of the road and barfed. I got the the Farm and got sick some more. I didn't even go inside, but sat in the car feeling ill and talking to my boys for about 20 minutes. As soon as they went inside, I puked so hard I peed myself a teensy bit The puke was nothing but liquid. My oldest son thought I might need the saltines I bought for them, so my youngest boy brought them out to me. I ate some, puked some more then left. I had to pull off the road on my back to get sick yet again.

Then I passed Hardees, made a U-turn and bought a double cheese burger and a medium french fries.
The fries made me feel to ill, so I gave those to my daughter. I ate the burger though and now I feel a trillion times better.

I will NEVER make that mistake again.

Other than that, I'm still a little super sensitive today. I seem fascinated by light most of all (twinkling droplets of water in the grass at night). I lose track of time staring at them. And if anything is even slightly dirty, I can't have it against my skin. My washer isn't doing it's job properly. I put on a pair of socks and after wearing them for just a few minutes, my feet were pulsating. And no, it's not a purely psychological thing lol I CAN tell if something isn't *quite* clean. I can usually ignore it though unless it's really dirty at which point I shouldn't be wearing it anyhow

*sigh* - I'm trying so hard to still want you...

Maybe I need to look at the underwear thread again.

lol AnderJ. I know that feeling! We've not had a problem with them for at least a couple of months. There for awhile, though, they were every-stinking-where.

Squish, I've not had that problem. Maybe it's the yarn (?) you use? I tend to roll everything up in an almost figure-8 shape. It's annoying to get it to unwind smoothly, so I tend to unwind it a bit in advance. Gee, thanks, now I want to crochet lol

My rant is my fatigue and my daughters strep and the fact that I cannot spell strEp without forgetting the freagin e lol.
I fell asleep at around 4AM, I got up to wake the girls, listened to my daughter whine about how horrible she feels, sent her back to bed, changed my gmail status to "$20. plz. Zee needs Dr." so hubby would leave me money before going to work. He called me to rant about having just given me money and why do I need more..... I still went back to sleep afterward.
I didn't wake again until 10:20. Then I walked across the yard to his house, in the rain, in order to pick up money which he leaves under a paint can.

I'm hot/cold again, but I finally realized that I'm somehow chilled to my core (despite being drenched in sweat). I hug my heater until I feel completely warm and the problem goes away.

My daughter is sick every morning. If I seemed to lack compassion in my above rant, that's why. Every day, she asks me to pick her up from school. Every day- after school- she feels fine enough to hang out with friends or to want to hang out in Town. But she IS sick. This morning, she had a temp of just under 100. And now she's starting to cough
Her friend rode the bus home with her yesterday. I didn't have the gas to drive her home- she lives PAST the Farm. I told her if it happened again, she would have to sleep outside in the tent, all by herself, in the dark and with nothing to do. Then they laughed and my daughter told me they would take that as a promise I said it might seem fun now, but not so much once there's a foot of snow on the ground. I then proceeded to lecture them about priorities and not screwing themselves over or getting the adults in trouble.
Turning them in is not an option, for me, because I think keeping them away from each other is stupid.

As I sit here typing, I keep drifting off back to sleep. I have no appetite so I'm not even considering taking a caffeine pill. I REALLY need to be back on Provigil but my stupid insurance will no longer cover ANY of it though I was on it for years (off and on because it was STILL almost $100. after insurance). I really wish I knew where to buy some stinking speed. This fatigue is ridiculous.

I took my youngest daughter back to the Dr. today. She still has strep. They upped her antibiotic from 300 mg 3 x's a day to 500 mg 4 x's a day. But my hubby said enough is enough. He told me NOT to fill the new script and to buy her yogurt instead. He thinks her stomach troubles are from being on one antibiotic or another nearly every day for the past 3 months. He says (and I later verified in my own research) that 1-10 children test positive for Strep and that many people carry strep but don't have an infection. So, he suggests waiting to see what the ENT Dr. will say.
She's also developed a rather nasty cough. Bronchitis seems to be going around, so I'll have to watch that too.
MY sore throat is worse, I have a dry cough but I think it's more allergies than anything because I've been sneezing and my sinuses are very dry.
Gah... if it's not one thing it's another.

I asked my daughter (keep in mind she's 14 years old and we live in the worlds seemingly smallest town) how much speed would cost me. She said it's usually $20. for 3 grams. I asked her how many pills that is and she said "I don't know, it usually comes crushed."
I then started singing "My daughter is my drug dealer.... we could write a country song about this " She just rolled her eyes at me and said in our small town, everyone knows how to get anything.
But seriously? 14 years old and she knows all this crap? (And no, I wouldn't buy drugs- especially involving my daughter!!) I think she just knows wayyyyyyy too many of the "wrong" sorts of people!

I told my hubby about the conversation and he said it would "just be crank" and that people can get poisoned from the makers using old battery acid which turns into lead or something. He said anyone who uses that stuff would get what they deserve. Then he got all silent and moody as if I would actually go out and make a purchase. Does no one know me? 1) I'm a goody-goody. 2) I don't even buy/smoke pot. 3) I don't even DRINK So, yeah, I'm REALLY going to go out NOW and have my daughter buy drugs for me.
People really annoy me sometimes.

I'm getting really sick and tired of being attacked as 'stupid' from all sides. I was always told growing up that I was very intelligent and mature for my age. Now apparently I'm young, immature, foolish and retarded. I can't handle that. I've built the majority of my self worth on being smart. The worst part is that I know my actions/beliefs have been stupid, so the attacks have a horrible sting of justification to them. I have no idea what to do with myself. I can't sleep. I'm unbelievably angry.

First, get sleep. It makes you smarter. Second, you can change whenever you want to. Or change back, rather. Just put your brain to good use and you'll be smart again in no time.

Deery, first understand that when people accuse you (anyone) of being stupid they really just mean that you said or did something stupid, which is an entirely different thing. It's obvious that you're a very intelligent person. We ALL say and do stupid things. Also, people have their own reasons for insulting each other that often have nothing whatsoever to do with what they claim - ie they're all pissed off inside about something else or whatever.

Sorry for double post - not my fault nobody else is having a crap day but me.

Woke up this morning having a back spasm and a fucked up dream and been screwed up all day. It's a real "got up on the wrong side of the bed" day. Everything I do is fucked up - my brain seems to be retarded. And I notice when I'm in physical pain like this - constant irritation - it makes me prone to feeling depressed. Normally I have a fantastic attitude no matter what goes wrong. But days like this I just want to stick my head in the oven and turn on the gas.

I still feel like poo. Plus "Mr. Monthly" showed up last night and I'm cramping. I NEVER cramp, so I can thank the caffeine for triggering them.
I'm also broke again until Monday night. I had to fill a new script for Wellbutrin that's NOT extended release. I also bought some moisturizing chap stick to shove up my nose, some saline nasal spray if the chap stick doesn't work, some Vick's vapor rub and a Mentholated Pain Patch for my stomach. The large bag of dog food set me back some too, but I'm sure they appreciate eating

I've slept all day. My daughter woke me at some point, asking to stay the night with a friend. She knows better than to ask me questions when I'm out of it. I agreed but thankfully I insisted on being given the friends phone number. She emailed it to me.
I sat at my desk, picked up my comb and was about to run it through my hair when I noticed some of my daughters hair in the teeth. I pulled it out and noticed movement. My daughter has stinking lice AGAIN! It was a fully grown bug so she's had it for a while, apparently. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Sometimes being a slight germaphobe pays off! But now she'll be passing it along to yet another friend and they can continue playing volleyball with the nuisances for the rest of all time.
If only my kids hadn't broken TWO electric lice combs. Those things rocked and I can't find them anywhere anymore.

While cleaning out my barn, I found that there are stink bugs inside everything. There were about 6,000 of them inside my MIG welder and another 10k or so inside my arc welder. I had to disassemble both of them to vacuum them out. The total stink bug volume is approximately 4 gallons. Thank God I have an extra hose to put on the air outlet so I can direct it outside. Those little fuckers can marinade in their own stink for a few days inside the shop vac.
