Life, that doesn't sound good ("I'll cry if I want to"). I hope you ended up having a terrific day.
Rant: I had a ton of dreams last night... but I only remember snippets of snippets lol. In one, I was at PT and a therapist said my feet stunk. I ruffled and said I don't see how because I use powder in my shoes and I wipe my feet with alcohol wipes when I take my shoes off. He went off the do something, but one of the ladies was there. I brought one foot, then the other, toward my face to sniff and felt justified in my indignation :cackle:
I had that dream because, the other day, I wondered if I was somehow starting to get athletes foot. The bottoms of my feet have been ?? sore and a wee red.
And, as soon as I remembered that dream, I forgot the other snippets I woke up recalling :bang:
Rant: My nose is extra congested today.
Wail: I don't think Ginger Baby is going to make it. Any time she tries to walk somewhere, she wobbles and sometimes falls over. She's still eating and drinking and she had that worming medicine... but I think it's too little/too late.
Curiosity: I'm wondering if the shower somehow triggers that. My buddy Simon did the same thing. He was sort of sickly and very dirty, so I took I shower with him. He started wobbling the next day too.
But why/how would that be the case? I'm VERY careful with the showers. I keep the cats close to my chest, my back shields them from direct water contact, and I don't wet their face (except passively). I have them dried straight away by wrapping them in a towel and then using body heat to warm them up.
Is it still too much of a shock? Could it be triggering something like a stroke? If it's a shock and worms are involved, does it make the worms more active (?)? Or, if they're already sickly and the have a shock, does it do something weird to their immune system. Does Ginger Baby have the same weird mutated disease that Simon had? I'm trying to think of the genealogy of the colony. Of course, their are foreign parties I'm unaware of (the feral males out hunting females), but I'm certain the females are of a different blood line.
Blah... time to scrounge up some breakfast...
