Thank you, that also means a lot to me. I might have said this before but sometimes I read posts from people on the forum and don't give them a like because I don't feel it's appropriate (negative situations, etc; it seems weird to "like" that?) and in those cases I usually prefer to make up a reply, but often can't think of what to say exactly or something else happens and then time goes by. |

Singled out from some of my favourite quotes from Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri: "Risks of [Planet] flowering: considerable. But rewards of godhood: who can measure? - Usurper Judaa'Maar: Courage: to question."

Rave! Many of my pets recovered from me accidently poisoning them. Both pistol shrimp are able to move fairly normally and the one who is paired with a gobi fish has rejoined the gobi and they both seem happy. The crab is no longer paralyzed, so I only killed 3 peppermint shrimp. I was so horribly sad for the gobi. They are symbiotic and loosing its shrimp would just be too tragic. |

Rant: Got up much later than I wanted to (again) and dreaming about unresolved issues, which meant quite a bit of writing. Sometimes DJing takes too long, even if the future self will probably appreciate I took the time to do it. |

Find a balance between doing something and doing so much it is a burden. If DJing becomes frustrating and time consuming you will resent it and stop. DJing is my big failing, and hard for me to keep up, although it is one of the best tools out there. I start with forming a quick outline in my mind. Example for two nights back. ---People are moving in my house. It makes me mad. Uncle says he eats much cereal, so I see they will be in main house. I complain saying something about a throwing rock.--- There is more detail I remember, such as where each portion took place, that there were 3 men moving in and so on, but I get down the outline first and add in more detail if I feel like it. |

^ I had a lucid Task dream about a fish Tank, Sivason. I think it was because of the discussion of it. I became lucid after I realized that I was also underwater, trying to put a cuttlefish in with all the shrimp, lobsters, and other tropical fish. The cuttlefish landed on my hand and changed color to fit my complexion. |

I definitely empathise with this. The work we do would literally be impossible if only one of us was on the job. Sometimes even having a third-person helps but most of the time two people is just what's required for almost everything we do. This applied to moving furniture in the house plenty often too. It makes me wonder how people who live alone manage to cope with these issues. |

Rant: I forgot my coffee this morning. And, we're doing diagnostic testing right now, so it's like the one day I can't sneak out to Starbucks. Head ache all day |

I once made a post stating that I wished I had some bumper stickers that say. "I'd Rather Be Lucid Dreaming" Someone on Dream Views made it happen. I still have them. The proof is my current avatar. I'm still amazed that even happened. The top right of the sticker says "dreamviews.com |

I was giving my son a shower yesterday (he usually needs a little help, he's 11 and has autism, so I stand outside the shower and help with rinsing his hair and such). We were in my parent's bathroom, so I used my dad's shampoo. It was Head and Shoulder's for "Men". When my son saw it was for "Men" he had the biggest, proudest smile on his face. It was priceless. |

Got in a bit of a disagreement with my boss today (ese boss, not my principal). She has an idea of how she wants us to write IEPs, but it's not the way they are written (and it will cause problems). I tried to express this to her, but she insisted I was wrong. I asked if she would double check, and she snapped at me. See, the problem is, they put people in this position without having been an ESE teacher first. Sure, she's got a doctorate, that's great, but this is her first year as a coordinator, and she was a general education teacher before that. So, yeah, I wish she would listen to us. Not the first issue like this I've had with her. It's frustrating, though. I try to tell her how it works, but get shot down. Then, we have to "play" by her rules for a while, until everything gets funked up, and then suddenly she changes things. I wish she would trust us. It's not like we haven't been doing this for years. |

For what it's worth, I respect you for saying what you said. It's just, for those of us who don't know Daniel Love's past account, he's only the guy that post links to his things and I also don't click on them for same reasons as you, MoonageDaydream. For example, in our Book Club, we read Sageous' book, because we know him on this forum and I was highly motivated to see his work (and even then, he only subliminally advertised it if at all). Same as if you had some published project out there, I'd be highly motivated to see it. But I don't know Daniel Love so I'm not clicking. But those who know him will obviously defend him, and rightly so, especially since his links have been approved so what he's doing is fine. It's just not reaching us. And you told him what's missing and he got a chance to explain himself. If you hadn't spoken up, my opinion about him would not have had a chance to improve because now I learned a bit of context. |
