Our basement suite tenant was given a ticket today for parking in our driveway. The city worker's reasoning was that technically, that part of the driveway belongs to the city. He said that parking there would be illegal but parking directly adjacent to that (on the road) is perfectly fine. I usually don't complain about things like this but that's utterly ridiculous. Parking on the road is fine but that part of the driveway isn't? The car would just be obstructing traffic on the road, at least more so than it would if it's parked on that paved part of the lot. We've been parking there for the last 10 or so years and it's never been a problem before. >_>

The part the bugs me the most is that you're required to offer off-road parking to your tenants. So technically, making them park on the road instead of the driveway is also illegal as far as I'm aware.

take it to a municipal court, the cops usually dont go.

I'm not going waste my time with that just to get out of paying $35. ._.

Oh wow.... fuck that. It pisses me off when people drive on the road.

.... I'm gonna leave that there for comedic value (I'm slightly drunk). I meant park on the road. There's basically not a single road here without 10 cars lining the sides and you have to stop constantly to let other people pass etc.

You can always try writing a letter to them, with a diagram of where it was. Not that shitty one up there lol Include your house, driveway and street etc. in the diagram.

Coz that's just fucking ridiculous. I've got a ticket reduced once by writing a letter. But I love wasting their time so I write one every single time. Except when I'm so clearly in the wrong.

I'm up in the middle of the night with bad nausea. This happens every month; I end up going to sleep like normal and then I wake up a few hours later and feel like I'm going to be sick. Fuck, I hate having to put up with this. It SUCKS.

It's probably just an in an out procedure it MIGHT take an hour if there is a long lineup, if i were you, i would look into it/

Fortuna seems to not like me too much at the moment; in general, my emotional life's completely fucked up for about one whole year now because of my ex-girlfriend (whom I still love). Then, three days ago, I received a letter telling me that my absolute dream job (policeman) is out of reach just because I'm too shortsighted, even though I scored the maximum amount of points in the acceptance test. Well. Some minutes ago I was told that I may not buy myself a new motorcycle (my old one went dead some weeks ago) because my parents are too afraid that "something could happen to me", even though they know that this would've cheered me up a lot because I'd really love to have one again.

Ew. At least I know that it's always darkest just before the dawn.

Bah! I cannot/will not manipulate my sweetie, so this is going to definitely be a Ramen week. If I buy them 1 outfit a week I should be able to make it work even if it is tedious. Plus, they still have perfectly fine clothes from this summer and last year.
They're mostly upset because a lot of their friends get clothing vouchers for a couple hundred dollars for each kid.

I'm also sort of ranting about my mom who got my hopes up by saying she was going to give me a bunch of stuff for my dog (that's about the same size as her dog who was recently put to sleep), but she ended up giving it all to someone else.
But it was hers to do as she pleased, so it's hard to be too disappointed. Well, not hard but inappropriate.

I also have heartburn from lunch... but lunch was worth it lol.

It's not man. It costs you more to take them to court than it does to pay the fine. They do it like that on purpose so people don't bother.

If you win, you don't have to pay court fees.

I wasted two packs of udon noodles because I stupidly put in that weird frozen bag of assorted (scary) seafood...crab, mussels, little tentacles... boiled it all up, drained and added soy sauce. I did my best to eat it, but after a few bites, I just couldn't do it anymore. I put it in the fridge, I may make another valiant stab at it.

Also, just earlier I heard/felt a distinguished fart in my upper stomach, just under my right ribcage. I'm scared.....very scared.....

Blah... it's going to take me a while to adjust to the school schedule. It's amazing that a few extra hours can make such a huge difference.
I've been sleeping really cruddy lately, so I was ready for bed last night by midnight. But if I went to sleep I'd never wake up to get my daughter off to school. I took caffeine and a 5-hour energy and I still fell asleep in my chair several times. I got to sleep at around 7:30 and woke up very quickly at noon because I thought the car place had closed and I couldn't get a new headlight. Then I spent the afternoon running around, looking for clothes, buying animal food and groceries. I laid down at 8PM and couldn't fall asleep.
Come 1AM, I'm going to be miserably sleepy.

But I have to get my car inspected tomorrow, buy groceries for the Farm then drive everything out to my boys. With what money, I have no idea. I guess a fairy will bring me some before tomorrow arrives

I stopped taking antibiotics because my daughter is a million times sicker than I am and she needs to take them longer for her tonsillitis. But now I have a blister on the back of my throat, my ear hurts a tiny bit and my neck feels like it's supporting about 500 pounds and is impossibly sore. I had also stopped taking all my vitamins which I'm sure didn't help any.

PLUS, yesterday or the day before I was bit by an evil mosquito. I had a nasty, extremely itchy bump so I silver nitrated it. But I don't feel the burn from the chemical so I tend to overdo it. Now I have a penny-sized discoloration on the inside of my arm where it bends and a matching discolored spot above it where the original rubbed. Only the center of the original is actually cauterized. It doesn't hurt at all, but it looks nasty.

Wahhhhhh lol I'm such a whiner
