Eh, I'm in the same boat. I did have someone I could at least talk to back in the day, but since... about January things have been meh :/ And like I told Erii, keep your head up high, you'll find someone soon |

The likes relation seems entirely asymmetric lately. |

sssssllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppp pppp... Seriously regretting last night. I am about to fall asleep, and that's after 2 extra large coffee's and a 5 hour energy. Looks like I won't be doing anything tonight either unless I get my second wind here soon. |

- Still sad as fuck from watching the notebook |

It's true, what can be more uplifting than this? |

Erii, it's snowing here in the mountains in Maryland. I could FedEx you a box of snow if you like. |

I don't like it. Even when I was little and watched it every Christmas it scared me. I've got a fear of stop-motion for some reason, or stuff that looks like it. And the story is sad. The Yeti is creepy, I think my childhood impression of the word 'monster' was tainted with a dark-furred version of it. When he was alone and lost, and his parents' disapproval. I vaguely remember something sad happening involving his parents. Like one dies, or they abandon him or something. And then they only like him in the end because he turned out to be useful, they never really loved him... the ending is good I suppose, but it almost seems they added that as an afterthought. The whole thing's just strange and depressing. |

Your attitude towards this is so wrong. They loved him, they just forced him to hide his red nose because it was distracting in reindeer training, jeez. The snow monster's scariness was epic, it's only strange and depressing at first, but it turns out for the awesome, you missed out lol |

I viewed it as I described when I was young, like 10 years old or less. Maybe I'd view it different now, but can't bring myself to watch it. It was a scary experience for me, I'm not saying it was objectively scary or anything. |
The sad thing with his parents was them crying and hoping he comes back home. Yeah, his dad was pretty abusive, and his mom enabled it, that's true - hell, even Santa was in on the bullying. But it's the tale of Rudolph making his own way out into the world and becoming strong as a result of that broken household! And he learns that the very thing his parents told him needed to be hidden away was actually a great strength. Anyone who's ever been shunned for being different should love this movie!! I think you were maybe too young when you saw it and got frightened. It's probably why you're a hopeless alcoholic now (I'm totally KIDDING!!!) |
Watch it as objectively as you can then lol |
lol, sorry. Yeah, you're probably right about being too young. If I ever get a chance to watch it again I will. |
There is no other ones. lol |
What...? There are plenty of Rudolph movies. ._. |
Wtf is that? How dare you present this to me? |
Crap, I'm worried that when I finish this drawing of this girl and show it to her on her birthday, I won't be able to find the words to say to her that I would like to meet her someday after our last but brief encounter in High School before I left. |
