I hope everything is okay Nefets and LucidBunnie.

Carrot. Yeah. Adulthood isn't much different... only there's more responsibilities and fewer safety nets. I hope you get to go somewhere wonderful.
You sound like my hubby when it comes to working. He says working is a positive feedback loop. You might not want to do anything at first but the more you do and the more results you see, the more it motivates you to continue. I've never had that problem myself

Calisia I hope you get something figured out quickly!!!

Rant: I started taking this thread to my FB. It's too quiet here and after awhile it just feels weird being the only person posting. BUT, my families on FB and they're all judgy and worry-warting.

Rant: On Monday, I saw the sleep Dr. It was so rushed and ??? weird. I didn't want to bring up Provigil again. When he asked how I was, I said "I'm still sleep-walking through life and have headaches all the time." That was his social cue (queue?). But no. He latched on to the headache part. He asked how long I've had them 'Almost every day to one degree or another. Usually only a 2 though.' He said we could try a shot. I hesitated and asked what it was.
He told me what it DOES, but not what it was. I missed my cue. He had a nurse bring in a box with a gel wand, then (after brief prepping) gave me a shot on either side of the back of my head (top of my neck). He said, if it works, we can see about getting them every couple months. But my next appointment is in 4 months

Rant: Since the injections, my fatigue has REALLY stepped up its game. I am sleeping on my feet. As soon as I close my eyes, I enter dreams. Using clues he left me, the *most likely* thing the shot was, was a "local anaesthetic and a steroid medication" (https://www.migraine.ie/migraine-med...l-nerve-block/)
I'm also slightly tremory and my BP has been a bit high (162/98 was the highest).
      But hey....

Rave: I haven't had any headaches Too bad I'm not conscious enough to actually enjoy it
My back is also better for the most part. So, I feel relatively okay if it wasn't for this fatigue.

Rave: After days of trying, I finally managed to get a working PC Engine emulator and the ROM of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. At first I wanted to get the game working on my phone (Seeing as there are basically two main actions, jumping and attacking), but I just could not get it to work. The soundtrack is so freaking amazing... So amazing in fact I'm listening to the game as I'm typing this in!

EDIT: Y'know, I probably could have gotten it on my phone. I had the files and everything, but the controller HUD up and vanished when the start up screen did load. Ah whatever, I'm happy now.

Hey Carrot, I remember you, too!

Rave: I’ve been so used to rotating schedules that I didn’t realize with my new position coming up on the 16th, it’ll be a fixed schedule with weekends off. Which means I can look for a part-time job on the weekends, which would most likely be grocery retail as a lot of hours are put into those two days. I’m stepping off of managing people, and I’ll be managing myself, and the structure of the area I work at as well. Making more money per month with those two extra days just made things more enriching for me. I might be able to afford an apartment in the near future. But, if I use that extra money to pay off my debt (not my student loans though), I can easily find a place for myself.

It really just came to me after a few days of shaking hands with the HR manager who gave me the position. The interview I had with the Sales Manager was apparently a given seeing how I immediately got the job offer the day after. Things seem to be looking good for now, but I need to remain diligent and prepared for anything horrible that may come along the way.

      Rant:

I realized my documentation of co-workers actually made HR come down like WWIII on these people. My other boss did a performance review on me, and he appreciated how each documentation is well-structured, and he admires me for that. It kind of shocked me, but then again, if HR always says “Hi” to me with a smiling face more than how they express it to others, then I guess I’m their silent hero. But, I don’t want it to make it seem as if I enjoy contributing to the eventual termination of co-workers. There’s always a personal life and story they have to take care of that they got the job in the first place. But, when they don’t show urgency, and the main point of my soon-to-be ex-job is to evaluate, audit, and observe, then I’ll be doing some messy stuff.

Because I got more militant and less tolerant for BS, at least 6 co-workers left. One probably quit before HR did it for them, and the other 5 involved interesting dispositions, but, I’ll keep that confidential obviously since they hold that standard to a high degree. I guess maybe it doesn’t seem like a rant until I address the concern that even though they fired 6+ people within my department, they’ve been slow to hire more. Which means we’re doing work of literally 4-5 people at the very least, and combined with the progressive realization that some co-workers abuse the management’s casualness, it will be 2 more weeks of hell.

But after those two weeks, I am going to start preparing for a better experience. I’m so grateful to have a fixed schedule that gives more leeway for another job. I think I made a smart decision, and I hope I can sustain my work ethic to keep it up.

Great job making such a good impression, Link. And grats on your schedule change and job hunting ops.

Hope everyone else is feeling better or gets well soon!

Rant: I'm still sleep walking. I need to get ahold of the sleep Dr. tomorrow and find out what the heck it was that he gave me and if this is a common side-effect. It's friggin ridiculous how much I've been sleeping and napping and how quickly I fall into dreams.

Rant: Hubby dragged me into the city today to shop for bed stuff. His blankets and mattress cover are so old, his feet keep sticking through them. But he's a Princess about his stuff. Has to be 600-800 thread count, so we can't buy it just anywhere.
He was a real sweetheart and bought me a fancy pillow ("... with ice fiber instant cooling cover"). When I took it out of the box, I saw the cover has a tear and the zipper won't budge. So, I have to return and exchange it

Rant/Rave: BUT... I have to go to the even bigger city on Friday for testing for my Vertigo. I pass the store on the way, so I'll just do it then.
More Dr's though. And, at fear of sounding racist, I have another foreign Dr. Statistically speaking, through my own experiences, the foreign Dr's seem to rush through appointments faster than their white counterparts (my p-doc being the exception. He's Egyptian, but he also gets paid by the hour and not by the patient, so ... and I've never had a black Dr. in these parts of the sticks for comparison; it's always been white, Egyptian or Indian) I'm not looking forward to the appointment because I've already convinced it will be rushed and unsatisfactory.

Rant: At some point in time, biting flies replaced the regular houseflies which are plaguing my room. BUT, I've only seen 1 botfly in the last few days, so that's an improvement at least.

Rave: My iPad is working again. A few weeks ago, it would get vertical lines twitching, then expanding to the point it reminded me of an old picture tube going bad. The image would completely burn out. I turned the brightness way down which seemed to do nothing at first. I turned it down some more then applied gentle pressure to the center and that seems to be doing the trick. I was REALLY missing my Smurfs game, jigsaw puzzles and notes

Meh. I finally got ahold of the sleep Dr's office. I had them look at my chart and tell me what I had been given and asked if extreme fatigue was a side-effect. I was, indeed, given a steroid but fatigue is not an official side-effect. I was told that if I have any concerns, see my general Dr.
Was it just last week that I got the shot, or 2 weeks ago? I'm so adle-brained and sleepy, I have no clue.

Rant? I was also given a PIN to access my e-chart. My general Dr is in business (?) with the sleep Dr. My visit, and notes were listed. When I broke down and saw the general Dr for that back pain, he noted my diagnoses as arthritis and depression. If he was just noting my affect, then I could have presented as depressed because of the extreme pain I was in. But, context matters.
I don't know what that bothers me but I'm really irked about it.
I guess it implies I have clinical depression. Clinically depressed people might not have their complaints taken seriously.
But now that I'm sleeping 16 hours a day, that feeds the stereotype even more so. I'm not depressed though. I'm not sad. I'm not hopeless or despairing or anxious etc.

But, I will be soon if I can't friggin wake up

Now, I have more googling to do. I need to see if a one-time shot of steroids can cause adrenaline (?) fatigue or something else weird.
      I know my body.
I have no trips coming up and nothing else that could cause this. It started THE DAY OF the shot.

I'm interested in psychological cause and effect too now- out of curiosity. Anyone who's followed my rants, for any length of time, knows I become comatose before trips. Sometimes 2 months beforehand. I always lament the fatigue and wonder what the heck, then my dreams clue me in. I start dreaming about getting lost while driving and other driving mishaps. Then the lightbulb goes off and I connect the dots.
For the last few nights I had such dreams. But I have no trips. None. Is that such a common for this fatigue that my self-conscience automatically goes there now lol?

Blood pressure be damned, I took 1/2 a caffeine pill today. Let's see if it helps at all....

      **EDIT**
Meh. My search was a dead end. All I found was Addison's disease and it doesn't really apply. (Fatigue, sudden backache, nausea, craving salty food, dizziness when standing were really the only similarities and those could be applied to just about anything).
      I'm too tired to continue.
      BUT, I'm still awake

Can we post direct images again?
      RatSnake.jpg

I saw that beauty while taking the pup out to go potty. It surprised me at first. I went back in for my phone and took a few shots.
But that wasn't good enough. I went back outside and saw he was much higher in the tree. Then I saw wings. "No, Snakey, no!" After a very brief battle, momma bird abandoned her nest and I thought it might actually be a pretty cool pic.

But all the limbs were too high for me to reach. I brought over the top of a dog house and balanced it on its side. Then I tested a vine and hefted myself up. The nest was ridiculously low, but it still took me too long to make my way to it. By the time I got close (I never did see the actual nest though), the snake had moved even higher up the tree and I realized I had dropped my phone.

I gave up and decided to go back to the house. But my foot couldn't get good traction, and as I tried to upright the dog house which was falling over, the vine snapped and I fell MAYBE 2 feet right onto my back. All it knocked out of me was a laugh.
I have some scrapes and abrasions from the rough bark and minor "whiplash" from the jolt of the fall (the same sort of whiplash I sometimes wake up with- like a kink in the neck that you can't quite work out).

I'm too old for this stuff
It was fun though. I'm just really glad none of the neighbors saw me

      **EDIT**
I sight measured the distance. It was actually about 6 feet off the ground (I'm 5'5" and the crook in the branch was higher than I am tall.) BUT, I was stepping down so it was probably closer to 5 1/2. My ears have been clogging since the fall (kind of like they do when you're getting dizzy).
I have full mobility and just the "kink" as pain, so I'm not overly concerned. If my ears keep closing off though, I might grudgingly see a Dr. tomorrow. I did NOT hit my head, but it did whip backwards.
      Grumble/grumble.

Rave: I am pleasantly (borderline unpleasantly) sore today
I can barely lift my legs. I squatted to pet a kitten earlier and I thought my legs would jello out from under me. My shoulders and upper arms are sore as are my hips and lower stomach. I barely even exerted myself during that climb yesterday. I need to figure out how to replicate the movement for a similar but safer exercise.

My ears opened last night so all is well. But that kink is still as irritating as ever (but not painful).

Rant: I had a migraine earlier and ended up having to take a nap. The sad thing is, a video game helped trigger it; too many meds and not enough food made it worse; food would have made it considerably better and I completely forgot I bought cereal last night I suffered for no reason.

Rave: I'm hyped for the new Fallout game. I started replaying Fallout 3 (which ultimately made me sick). I started feeling sick early on in the game, but pushed through it. It never occurred to me to take a Zofran (anti-nausea med). I'm about to get on the game again. I just ate that cereal, so I'll take that Zofran now. Then I'll game for a couple hours.

Rant: And be up by 3:45 to go to the store, buy breakfast, relax with a show then hit the road at 6AM for my trip to the big city to see the Vertigo Dr. . Gah! I really hate Morgantown and I'll be smack in the middle of rush hour.
After that, I have to stop at Khol's to replace my pillow... then head to hubby's office to get my allergy shot.
From there, I'll pass out for a few hours then possibly go back to Walmart to shop for hubby (I've put it off all week).
In other words, tomorrow is going to be miserable

      I hope everyone is well.

      RAWRRRR!!!
I slept a lot yesterday, so I only napped from 1-3:45AM. Sleep was rough because my leg was itching me to death. I took my Fitbit off to take a shower and I saw welts on my arm. Great, something's been chewing me in my sleep.
I scrubbed with my Chloroxylol then shortly thereafter, there were welts on my face.

I went to the Vertigo Dr.... who doesn't specialize in vertigo My general Dr dropped the ball. He sent me to a Sinus Dr. But he and his Resident worked me up all the same. The Vertigo Drs are in the practice with them but not today. They gave me some basic tests and tested my hearing. They said the next recommendation is to the Neuologist (sp). They theorized, though, that the vertigo may actually be from migraines.

On the drive home, my welts were really bugging me... I went for my allergy shot and hubby's tech told him I had some nasty dermatitis. He agreed. I got my shot then picked up lunch.

When I got home with hubby's food, he met me at the garage, asking what kind of snake he tripped over
He killed it and he set it in the driveway for me to see. It was a MUCH smaller rat snake.

My welts are now driving me mad... despite lots of Cortizone-10.
Now I'm washing my bedclothes again. Going to take another shower then some Benadryl and crash. But that's still some 2 hours away.
I never break out like this.

I ended up going to the ER yesterday because all the walk-in clinics had closed for the day and I psyched myself out too much about my hives. They weren't getting any better (despite Benadryl every 4-6 hours AND Cortisone cream the hives/rash were actually spreading) and then my throat felt sore and a little constricted. My family and friends nagging me didn't help either

The hospital PA (no DR there either ) thinks the hives are either contact dermatitis or a reaction to bug bites (I have several on my arm and chin). They gave me a shot in my hip and wrote 2 scripts (one allergy, one oral steroids). I actually fell asleep waiting 30 minutes after the shot. The workers were laughing and carrying on, and I woke not knowing where the heck I was or what was going on My throat was bothering me because of good 'ole PND and nothing more.

I made it to the Pharmacy JUST as they closed up. But they still took my scripts to be processed for today.
I'm STILL red but not as welty. Hubby gave me some Benadryl anti-itch cream and it has worked miracles.

Part of me wonders if "stress and trauma" from my 5 foot fall and then having to drive to Morgantown also played a role in the hives. I have nothing to back that up, but I'm curious. I'll be paying close attention to stressors. I've NEVER gotten rashes or anything on my face before so it's very interesting.

Rave: I LOVE my new pillow.
Humor? But I sorta feel like a dumby. I'm 44 years old and I never knew that you're supposed to use "pillow protectors" and then a pillow case. I thought pillows only needed one cover

Rave: My iPad is still working.
Rant: But Fallout 3 keeps crashing my computer. I even ran the compatibility thingamajig. That helped, for a while, but then it crashed again and I lost my patience with it. My computer just freezes. Ctrl/Alt/Del does nothing when I try to run the task manager to close the game. I have to reboot my PC. So, I started playing Fallout 4... and with a controller even But then, when I try to pick a lock, there's no visual. I unplugged the controller and tried the keyboard, but nope. Still no visual

For now, though, I'm done troubleshooting everything. I'm going back to sleep...

Rant: Fallout 4 doesn't work properly either Lockpicking is invisible. I've tried multiple tips but ended up giving up. Now I'm back to 3 until it crashing my machine again

Rant: I cannot wake up for anything today. I've been trembly, irritable and when I went shopping tonight, my vision wasn't working right (reading was blurry, like I was cross-eyed). I figured it was my sugar, because I'm on oral steroids now. I got home and my BP was perfect (116/76) as was my sugar (104) I have no idea what's going on.
My period is also several days late.

Rave: My hives are gone though. It just looks like I have a sunburn now. It feels leathery/scaley. I still have a big case of the itchies- the crook of my elbow, my neck, my under-boobs, the bug bites that are still on my forearm. But it's all tolerable.

Rant/Humor: I ate skittles and played Animal Crossing Pocket Camp in my sleep today. I got on the game after I woke up and my character was wearing different clothes. My skittles are almost gone.
This consistent level of extreme sleepiness is not right.

What ever's going on with me- hives, rashes etc, my blood pressure is loving it even if the rest of me is miserable
My BP and sugar have consistently been awesome. Even my pulse has been weirdly normal/low. Maybe it was Benadryl and then Zyrtec? I was taking Benadryl every 4-6 hours and I'm now just taking one Zyrtec at bedtime.
I'm still sleeping a ridiculous amount though. I've not been using my CPAP at all- not until my face completely clears.

Rant: My stomach's rebelling today. I haven't even fed it much of anything. I ate one of those large things of "Ramen", but not all of it because meh.

Rant: Night before last, I was going to sleep and saw something on the wall behind me. It looked like a roundish, flat brown bug. I turned on my light and didn't see it, but found another bug. It was long and brown with yellow in the middle (I think), with wings and long antena. I felt like a jerk but I smushed it in a wipe and threw it away. Something's been biting me and I wasn't taking any chances.

Last night, I saw the same flat brown one. I took some pics of him before sealing him up in a baggie. Of course, the pics didn't turn out because he's too small and the camera isn't good enough.
At first glance, he looks a lot like a bedbug But that just makes zero sense. I don't go anywhere or stay over at other people's houses. The only thing new to my room are those crafting items that were in an outside shed. I went through them and didn't see anything, but bugs can be pretty stealthy when they want to be.

Most likely, though, it's just an outside bug. The weather has been VERY rainy and chilly. We have no screens on the windows and the kids leave the windows open (no AC or heat either, so you pretty much have to keep them open). I have a window AC but the side flaps don't seal properly so creepy-crawlies can easily squeeze through. I am very curious what he is though. I'll have to get a magnifying glass. He's NOT a roach. I lived in Florida throughout my teens so I am more than acquainted with those pests. He's also not a pill bug.

I should be getting my mosquito net on Friday, so hopefully all bedtime bloodsuckers will be eliminated so long as they're not hiding IN my blankets. But then I have to worry about when I take the dogs outside. I'm not about to change my clothes every 4 hours, so I guess I'll have to depend on DEET.

Rave: My dreams have been absolutely amazing. My recall, not so much It always amazes me how I can have such long, intricate dreams in such a short span of time (my best dream came when I fell back to sleep from 10-11:30AM. It felt like the dream spanned days).

      I hope everyone is well.

I personally absolutely hate when people on video game forums deliberately use terms that are inconsistent with the version that the forum is intended for.
For example, I frequently visit forums that are explicitly intended for the SNES version of "Final Fantasy 6", and I always see people come in on those forums and use terms from remakes and apparently expect that everyone is gonna be totally familiar with those terms, like they will use names like "Aura Cannon", "Kazekiri" and "Heiji's Jitte" even though the actual SNES names are "AuraBolt", "Tempest" and "Coin Toss".
I find this use of inconsistent names to be very nonchalant and unnecessarily confusing, almost like those people are trying to pretend like the SNES version has never existed or something, even though there isn't even anything particularly "bad" about that translation and it even was the original American translation of that game.

I don't know about these people, but personally I kinda like to visit forums that are focused on the actual version that I am interested in, instead of being like "oh, I have this question about the GBA version, guess I will visit the forum for the SNES version then, without specifying which version that I am actually talking about or anything".
      Makes no sense to me.

Yeah, I get that all the time on PC 7D2D threads and forums. "Why don't we have this and that for the console?" "The Fun Pimps SUCK! They've forgotten us console players!!"
Go complain on your own thread. Seriously.
As for character names. Meh, I would probably be guilty of that if I played 2 versions of a game. I'd gravitate toward the name that I can speak the easiest or which grabs me the most (if I understand your gripe. Same character, just different names?)

My controlled experiments have bugun. I just gave the Plague Bringer (kitten) some more cuddles. Her name is actually Spice, but I'm so convinced she gave me hives, that I call her PB or Plague Bringer Though, it wouldn't actually be HER that I'm reacting to but something she's getting into.
If I get no hives, the on Sunday, I'm going to go hug that tree I climbed while going after the snake.
If, by Tuesday, I have no hives then I'll have no idea. It will either be bug bites or *unknown*. I've gotten plenty more bug bites and no further outbreaks of hives.

Rave: I put my mystery bug under a bright light and I looked him up. NOT a bed bug. But I never could tell exactly what it was. I let him go outside. The other bug I murdered was a longhorn beetle of one variety or another Harmless. I love bug identifier web pages!

Rave: I managed to stay awake for most of yesterday. HUGE accomplishment
BUT, I'm feeling fairly comatose today.

Rant: Another kitten died. Spice probably isn't too far off from joining him. They need to hurry up and put some weight on so I can treat them for worms. That's not the cause of death, but it definitely doesn't help. Feline herpes is what does them in.

Blackie (I think the kids named him Tap) is the healthiest. Whitey (the kids call her Tip- she's the Siamese with blue tipped ears; but I have no higher brain function to keep those names in mind ) is the next healthiest. Then there's Moby, Ginger (yeah, she's long-haired and orange ), and the twins. After Spice, the twins are the next sickliest, followed by Ginger. Blackie doesn't look sick at all.

Rave: All of my packages came in today. I need to clean and rearrange my room some more before I even open the mosquito net box. I need to be able to pull my desk just a smidge away from the walls. Hmmmm. I was thinking of cleaning up a side table and joining it to the desk so my feet don't dangle off. BUT, I think the shelf would work better. It's already beside my desk. I can push it behind it, add a couple pillows (it's lower than the desk). That would also free up a bit of floor space. I think that would work!

I want to wipe my face SOOOOO badly. Ohhhh, something else I could have reacted to is that Chloroxenlol. I'll have to add that to the schedule, though I doubt it because I had been using it with no problems. Maybe it was accumulative though?

If the different names don't cause any confusion then I will be fine with it, although I will still sort of wonder why someone who plays a different version would want to visit a forum that isn't based on that version.
But I guess that if you play several versions and happen to be in some specific forum then it's probably more convenient to use the other name.

The thing that really annoys me though is when some people insist that the original translation somehow isn't "the real thing", just because it made a few minor harmless changes to some things.
For example, a couple years ago there was some guy who decided to make a "proper translation" of Final Fantasy 7 - and sure, I agree that the original translation was very stiff in a lot of ways, and it had tons of typos and grammatical errors (especially the priceless line "This guy are sick.") - but this guy went so overboard that he even insisted on changing the terms "Phoenix Down" and "moogle" into "Phoenix Tail" and "molebat".
Yes, those terms are more literal translations of the Japanese names "Fenikkusu No O" and "môguri", but that's completely irrelevant - there is nothing wrong with the American terms, and they are highly accepted among almost all Final Fantasy fans.
Sure, this translation of FF7 may only be a fan translation, but the idea that someone is so obsessed with the "original names" for things that they are ready to replace highly popular and embraced official American names has always been a big pet peeve of mine.

Another example is when the names "Cross" and "Clik" from Star Ocean: The Second Story were changed into "Krosse" and "Kurik" - what?
Those names look really weird in the English language, and almost resemble German or something.
And I am honestly fairly sure that at least the name "Cross" was the name that the Japanese version was actually going for (the Japanese name is "Kurosu", which happens to be exactly how "Cross" would be spelled in Japanese).

Maybe I sound overly emotional about this, but hey, this is the "Rant and Rave, Cry and Complain" thread.

      Rant away
I think you can boil your rant down to fanaticism. Those people would drive even me crazy and some claim I have the patience of a Saint
My real name is April. If I'm traveling abroad, should I get offended if someone calls me Abril or Udzuki (using a translator for the second one- no idea if accurate). Nah.
The Cross/Krosse change sounds as if it was only done so to look cooler?

Rant-ish: No hives. I researched the subject some more, though, so I'm still blaming the kitten. A key piece of info fell into my lap last night. I was talking to the girls, telling them that Spice would probably die next and one of my reasons was because she likes to isolate herself and she's always sleeping (more so than norm). My daughter objected and said Spice is always off exploring the back of the house, then comes back with wet feet and tries to climb onto her lap. Wet feet. Back of the house.
When I gave her cuddles, last week, I did so while visiting the girls in their room. The kittens feet were wet.

SO... I must be reacting to something at the back of the house.
I swear, if I ever get the money and energy to actually repair this place, it will never happen because the house will kill me first There's too much water damage back there. If the kitten returns with wet paws, there must be puddles or the wood is just completely rotted through.
I haven't even looked at the back of the house in almost a year. I'm afraid to, I think. Also, if I don't SEE it, it can't really be THAT bad, can it

Humor: I took the mosquito net out of its bag and It's going to take someone with a degree in engineering to set that thing up Good googally it's confusing as all heck!! It comes with a free e-book, so I'm definitely going to have to look into that!!!

Rant: I kept waking up to a migraine. I was supposed to go to hubby's office at 11:30 for my allergy shot, but he called at noon to ask where the heck I was. I slept through my appointment with him. That headache, though, was a BEAST. I cleaned my room for some 8+ hours yesterday (I even dusted under my desk). The headache was most likely due to allergen exposure.
I got out of the house for a while, bought some lunch, ate with hubby and got my shot and the headache subsided a great deal.
My daughter just got home from work, though, and came back to say hi and she says my room reeks of must. I wonder if my AC isn't draining right.

Rant: Momma dog is getting on my last nerve. Her ear reeks and she's bleeding all over the place. Yeah. Not nice (and also not accurate. I tend to exaggerate). But, gah, is she a trying beast. I try to clean and Dr her and spray her with anti-itch spray and she just does not cooperate. And she can't help that gnarly tumor on her ear. SO... I'm nice to her and I haven't banished her from my room yet. I just wish she wasn't such a friggin scardy-puss. My daughter finally got her an appointment but it isn't until the 21st. Hopefully, something can be done to help her feel better. If not, we might have to put her down  It shouldn't come to that though. She doesn't seem to be in pain, just irritated.

      and
      just because...

      **EDIT**
Ugh. My sarcasm cursed the poor dog. I don't know what the heck she did to her tumor but nearly an hour has passed and I'm still wearing a look of disgust on my face. She was geysering blood out of that thing for a good 5 minutes solid. I ended up just putting a blanket down for her to bleed on when I realized every time I cleaned her ear I was removing or dislodging much needed clots. I went through nearly an entire roll or cheap paper towels. BUT, it looks like the clot finally took.
Amazingly enough, the puppy isn't trying to steal her blanket. He usually can't stand it when she has anything.
I hope she doesn't have any more of those episodes!!!!! The 21st can't come quickly enough.

Well, when it comes to video games and new translations, it can sometimes become a bit annoying and come off as nonchalant when someone deliberately uses totally unfamiliar terms in the wrong forum and apparently just expects everyone to recognise those terms.
If someone for example needs advice on beating the Soul Of Chaos dungeons in the Daws Of Souls version of "Final Fantasy" and for some reason needs to visit the forum for the NES version (maybe that's the only active forum or something like that), then why not simply start the original post with a quick "I am playing the Daws Of Souls version for the GBA"?
That's what I would do anyway, because this would immediately make it very clear what I am talking about.

      Two forums that have realised the value in splitting up different versions are RPGClassics and the FF forum CavesOfNarshe;
those forums have specific sections for each version and it's very easy to look up information about any of those versions there, without all that mess where they use arbitrary terms from arbitrary versions.

This is just my personal opinion though, I am not usually making a big deal out of it in the actual forums.

      Start rant,crave and cry:
Is this forum fading away or am I just overthinking things?
I looked at some web statistics and saw that, last year DV had around 1M views per month, but now only around 150k views! It fell from around 50000 global ranking to 300000 and it's going down really fast! Maybe VR took huge chunk from LD's. If this continue, soon will be totally deserted!
      End rant, crave and cry.

      Rant
Recently my dreams are intense but very blurry and forgeting them very fast upon awakening. So I am in dry period of lucid dreams, but I had so many tasks and goals to acomplish this month. This totally get on my nerves!
      end rant

      Melancholic Rant:

I been struggling with flu symptoms for over a week, lost hearing in my right ear with pain, and now finished all course of meds without much improvement. Worst thing out of this was that to pause working out and studies. I wish I had a pet to cuddle, being sick is not fun. ^^'
