Uh, no. Dreamviews is run on "phpBB" software which has a style system. icedawg simply coded a new style, then pressed a button and the style was changed. All the core data like the posts, the people, etc never got changed or moved anywhere. All of that data lives on the site here, not on a free provider like aimoo. Here's phpBB's site.
All the posts, users and passwords are stored in a "mySQL" database here. mySQL is a sort of web-database. The data there can be displayed in any manner icedawg would like, even in a little pink pig format if he so desired. The data never changed - just the style templates did. It's basically the same site.
phpBB requires a decent hosting provider with PHP and mySQL to be used, but in my opinon is the best forum web-software out there by far. It is also free, and obviously doesn't come with ads either. Of course, the web hosting is not free. I'd suggest iPower or site5.com if you are looking for good, cheap hosting that is reliable.
PS: In case anybody's wondering after seeing that icedawg can just access everything to do with this forum directly, icedawg can't read your passwords. Nobody can. They're stored in a MD5 format (type of encryption) that nobody can read off.
A encrypted password example is like this:
Your password is apples
It gets encrypted as daeccf0ad3c1fc8c8015205c332f5b42
