That one's not a hoverbike, and thus made of much less Win.
(Still cool, though.)
We are just one step away from speeder bikes. :D
Not only do I want one, I need one. What I find particularly cool is how far you can get on this thing, with a relatively small amount of fuel. Personal aviation vehicles need way more research.
:D
:?

Isn't there already a thread about this? I recall making a joke about Flanders and a comb and a piece of tissue paper before :/ Simpsons fans get it
40,000 USD? That's all? That's fairly cheap if you ask me. Also I don't think you'd be able to ride it down the street unless it attains street legal status. I reckon if'n you can't do that, there ain't no point in buying it.
"Be right back, gonnna go grocery shopping!"
"But all the stores closed half an hour ago?"
"Don't worry, I'll just fly across a couple timezones."
Why the fuck would you ride it on the street lol?
It flies man.
O' - If you want one bad enough....
If you really can't wait and would like to purchase a Hoverbike now, we can build you a working prototype.
Please contact us for more info.
Says that on the buy page.
Or donate.
I've really wanted to build a hovering UFO type thing of my own. I don't think it would be too hard.
The most expensive thing would be the shell to put over it. You'd have to get a custom mold most likely.
Or buy some sort of hollow UFO thing. Someone probably sells em.
The only problem I have with this bike is that it is easy enough to fall off bikes when they're on the ground.
I wouldn't really want to be tipping this thing forward to go forward. They should just make the propellers move around instead.
It might, however, kill all your future children. Ouch.
apparently there's no restrictions coz it's an ultralight vehicle. Although no doubt if it becomes used more the government will make up some new law so you have to get a special license and shit. Like those little motorbikes.
They said on the site they're gonna put a mesh over it. Probably a good idea haha
Although I would think if it's too thick it might slow the propellers down. Probably gotta compromise between small enough holes for arms/birds not to get through but big enough to allow good air flow.
