Need help with love problem

Ok I am dating this guy that i really really like, but I just found out that the guy I have a crush on FOREVER likes me too. He wants to go out with me but he knows I have a boyfriend so he knows I would have to turn him down. Yet me and my current boyfriend are in complete love, I think, and I don't want to break up with him but I still want to go out with the guy who likes me!! I don't know what to do!!!! This one should be common sense. If you are already dating i'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be that great of an idea to double play your boyfriend because if he finds out that could result in anger and violence. Heck, if you don't want to break up with him you obviously shouldn't. You don't really know what the other guy has yet since you have never been with him. Don't ruin your love life.

Also never use that many emoticons. It's really annoying.

I know that by saying this, I might offend you, and I'm sorry but this has to be said.

With all due respect, grow up! I can't help but think that if you were actully in love with the guy your with, you would even occur to you to think about ruining it with him for someone else. I don't know about anyone else, but it sounds as though you need to asses your life. Figure out what you want, and then you'll get the answer to your questions from within you. You'll never get anything in life without knowing exactly what it is you want.....So figure out, and decide for yourself.

Gwendolyn how can you tell her to grow up? you can't expect a young person to know everything about relationships...it comes with experience etc. some people don't learn until even up into their 30's/40's...

with that said I pretty much agree with what Qwen and Yume said. the thing is, you obviously have something with the guy you're currently dating, otherwise you wouldn't have second thoughts about leaving him for your crush. and I can understand the excitement you feel knowing that someone you've liked for a long time likes you too now...but you have to understand it's only infatuation. infatuation comes on STRONG at first, but then slowly and gradually wears off and you start to see the whole person, the character flaws and little things that get on your nerves. I suppose you are currently somewhere in that stage with your boyfriend, I don;t know how long you've been together (and even then, only you know). also, you can't possibly be "completely" in love with him because you are considering breaking up with him for your crush. if you were truely in love with him then you wouldn't be consulting this forum for help, now would you? so, you're still just infatuated with him. that is ok, it's perfectly normal...but I can't stress enough how important it is that you are aware of infatuation because it can cause you to make bad decisions.

I would suggest that you stay with your current boyfriend, wait until the infatuation wears off (which usually takes years) and find out if you're truely in love with him before you go off with some crush. if you don't, you could lose him forever. that's just how I'd do things, from what relationship knowledge and experience I have.

what ever you do make sure you dont cheat on your boyfriend.

I don't expect her to know everything about relationships. Actually, I was out of line with that comment...I forget sometimes that at the age of 14, I was not the wisest person ever. I'm still not......So sorry, Little_Kitty, but my advice still stands. Asses your life, and get your priorities in order. This will be the answer to your question.

Thanks every one for your advice. PaperdollEP Your advice was right on the money because I talked to my boyfriend and I Think the infatuation with HIM of all people is gone. I broke up with him and started going out with the other guy. Turns out this one is the perfect boyfriend for me. We have alot in common and he is really sweet. Not to mention I see him everyday at school and he is always hugging me and stuff so yeah... Thanks again!

Oh and Gwendolyn I totally agree with your advice because I was just thinking "Oh god Nicole how could you have written that? You soo need to grow up!" So I don't take offense in that whatsoever! Oh and btw I'm 16 not 14. My picture on here was taken a while ago so I need to update it. I am definetly mor mature now!

Juggle both guys until it blows up in your face.
