Thread: Please help me! :)

I gave it one star, the composition just looks amateurish. The topic is beauty in death, so your friend decided to take a picture of dead leaves? What a cliché. Why is the camera tilted, does your friend not own a tripod? In the description it says, "This picture was taken at someones memorial, and it shows that death is not wasted, that persons life was beautiful and still is." How does the picture do anything to convey this? Without already having the knowledge that this is for a photo competition about death, how would anyone know the picture was taken at a memorial? "Death is not wasted", does that mean the dead person was buried at the base of that tree, and is now providing nourishment to it in the form of soil? Real art takes courage, and honesty. This picture is just... pathetic.

umm wow. I didnt post this so you could make it harder for her. This is a teen competition its not gonna be amazingly professional. Its the imagery that makes it good. The dead leaves in the background of the beautiful beach. Dont take it so literally, and even if you didn't like it. I posted this so people could help my friend. Not hinder her. If you didn't like it you shouldn't have rated it.

EDIT: Lol just noticed your little note at the bottom. Do me a favor and place make the "just kidding" a little bigger

Wow I can take better pictures with a cell phone... I didn't want to be a total asshole though so I gave you 3 stars. Probably deserved one and a half.

guys this isnt for me, this is for a friend. I would really appreciate if you would just be helpful and vote 5. And if you really think it sucks, then please just dont vote at all. And sending a pic of my post to the photo contest to try and get it disqualified, is just completely low. I love the people on dream views, but sometimes they can be complete jerks because they can hide behind the facade of their computer screen.
