Thread: Post if you're happy or cheerful

Well it's very rare for the weather here right now, I live in Missouri. Usually our winters are pretty bad, this winter has been so weird though.

And ahh i finished Catching Fire (the second hunger games book), I started reading it yesterday, for like 5+ hours and I got through a bit more than half of it (but not quite 3/4ths), and I just finished the last part of it today. It was so goooood but a bit confusing <__< can't wait till i can start the third one. But ugh, i hate the feeling when I finished a good book/book series and I feel so lonely and distraught .-.

Getting drunk tonight. My friend I was going to drink with is sick though. :/ So I guess that means I'll probably just be here again! What to do this time.... Maybe red wine? (It's heart healthy! )

Finally may have a better job!
I took the plunge and went for one of those jobs on the job websites
where they go through another agency. I hate them because they never tell you
what the company is or anything, but I figured I'm fairly in need of a new job right now.
So I went for it. Just went and filled out all the paperwork and they said they will call me if they get anything I'm interested in. Hopefully it will be in a plant nursery, as that's the one I applied for.

I'm happy because I had a dream that had crazy powerful psychedelic visuals. I need to recreate that in a lucid!

I'm glad everything's back up, how long has this been here? Being cut off from all the cool people at dv wasn't a very happy thought :/

I'm happy I didn't pee on the sofa, like I did in my dream.

And in the dream I was doing it on purpose. So bizarre.

I'm happy because it's another beautiful, sunny day. I may attempt to get a load of laundry done...

I'm happy because I finally got my bicycle to NOT shift to the wrong place when going somewhere that is slightly uphill.

Just have to set the gear to "2" and pedal a little faster, but at least I won't embarrass myself when riding on the "GO" sign, and finding I can't ride my bicycle in front of traffic that is eager for their turn to go.

I live just across the state from you.
Crazy bi polar weather is crazy, we had like 5 blizzards every winter, for the last few winters here. <_< cept this one.

Our winter has been basically non-existent as well. There were actually lots of ladybugs in the hospital I stayed at. I commented to the nurse about it and she said she has them at her house too. I've heard of Fall infestations, but never Winter ones. I guess it just wasn't cold enough to kill them off.

I'm happy because I just had a wonderfully hot and long shower. My hair is finally clean
I'm also happy over our dog Snuffanuff. He keeps getting loose which is a pain, but he's WONDERFUL with the new puppy. She came into my room yesterday and I didn't see her near my bed and stepped on her paw. She yelped and Snuffanuff stuck his head through the doggy door I made concerned and growling. I told him to chill, that Meesha (puppy) was just fine and he backed away.
If only Cocoa would take to her. Cocoa's pretty much a bitch to everything though. Humorously enough, she tolerates the bunny more than anything

I just tried taking a nap. Cocoa was between me and the wall and Meesha was at my back. Cocoa kept growling at the pup and I was nervous she'd bite me by accident, but I made myself pet her to calm her down while the pup played behind me. Then Meesha noticed my hair and ears and started biting them. I was laughing so hard I was crying. I kept thumping her on the nose and snot would fly, but she'd just puppy growl and attack all the more. I was making such a noise that my son came into my room, thinking some chicken had somehow gotten in (which is what my laughter sounded like to him )
I kept trying to nap with all this going on and then my other son called my cellphone and got me out of bed. Now I'm wide awake
But boy that laughter felt so stinking good!

Ladybug infestations? Lol, I have these stinkbugs flying around my house, at school, everywhere. I WISH they were ladybugs.

I just have gnats.

Yeah. Cheerfulness is the new emo. I'm kidding. There's always SOME reason or another to be cheerful.

It's also likely making my son miserable and slowing him down as he is running away. Maybe the weather will give him pause and make him turn himself in.

They found my boy. He's soaking wet, sore from a slide and a minor dog attack, but he's safe. Now they have to find some other placement for him because he ruined his status where he was.

SOOOOO happy spring break is almost here. Not going anywhere for break because I quit my job last month and have no money

But I love that I will get to relax the whole week

Happy February 29th peeps. It's like a bonus day on this wonky road we call life expectancy. xD

I'm enjoying it. I bought booze.

Also, looking forward for Friday. I just can't wait until these 3 exams Thursday are done and over with. I can't bear to even worry about the horrible grades I'll get after them.

omg! As much as I love the sun and nice weather, there are some days I just want it to rain!

Also, there was fog today, and being from Philly, it is something I am not too used to. So I was enjoying a drive around the area, through the fog (fortunately there was zero traffic). I thought everything looked incredible.
