Thread: Bay Birds advice please :)

Baby birds advice please:

Ok all, 3 days ago my dog killed a bird only thing is it had 2 chicks on the floor aswell, now these can't fly properly yet and may have jumped the nest when mom didn't come back, they are both eating well and are looking alot better, i think they are possibly finches but not 100% sure. Is there any bird experts out there that can advice me how and when to let them back into the wild and if they will be ok, They are so lovley and obviously i think i may have them for a couple of weeks yet maybe. One has all its feathers but the other has a tiny bit of bare skin on its chest, only a little.. so yet for the feathers to grow and the one with less feathers was the weaker one and didnt want to eat at first..he/she is eating alot better now, the only other difference between the 2 is that the weaker one is a tad smaller. Any advice atall would be appreciated. They are feeding on warmed mashed up dog biscuits, you know all soggy, any advice atall would be good..thankies
