RIP Jack Layton
Canada lost a great politcitian today, He was surely the most active member of Canadian politics. And also the loudest one. When he saw something wrong he would say something about it.
RIP Jack Layton July 28, 1950-August 22, 2011.

Currently he was the only politician (that meant something on the political scale) in Canada that was in favour of Same Sex marrige.

The NDP is fucked. People sure as hell weren't voting to put those 20-something year olds into Parliament...

I loved that man. The only other politician I trust right now is Elizabeth May. But she's in no position to be a serious political player right now... And probably not any time soon either. The Green Party is too young and not enough people take it seriously. Fuck!

I agree, people obviously voted for Layton, I don't like the NDP, never have, and never will but at the same time Jack Layton was something else.
