g'day
the question is how much LANGUAGES
not ways :shadewink:
Dude - Lounge...
this isn't ED! :cheeky:
And slang is a language!
Hej, Hello, Bonjour, Hei, Heisann, Hallo, Aloha, and chinese and thai, but I can't spell it.
:mwahaha:
CAN SOMEONE VOTE ALREADY!
geez
But I'm afraid after I vote I'll think of some more... :panic:
Arrivedercci (sp?) Gutentag (good morning, close enough!)
Alright there! I voted for 16+, in case I think of them! Plus I can always learn that many on Google...
i just realized i can say it in many languages
ni hao, hello, bonjour, konichiwa, namaste
Off the top of my head, I could think of five.
Hello, Ciao, Hola, Aloha, Bonjour.
But like some other people are saying, after thinking a bit, you realize you know more than that.
Hej (Danish)
Hej (Swedish)
Hej (Norwegian)
Bonjour (French)
Hallo (German)
Ni hao (Chinese)
Konichiwa (Japanese)
Hi (English)
Yep.
Hello
Hola (spanish)
Ohayou (japanese)
Bonjour (french)
Sapa say (creole)
Gutentag (german)
And I think I knew how to say it in polish at one point, but the only words I can seem to recall are "yes" and "kiss me".
edit: Also 5-6 and 6-10 is kinda misleading...I mean, who do the people who know it in 6 languages really vote for?
ahh fuck typo, i'll fix it in the OP
I'm including some "good mornings" in this, because there are many different ways of saying Hello, even in multiple languages. 'Que tal' (what's up??) instead of Hola, in Spanish, for instance.
Hello (English)
Hola (Spanish)
Bonjour (French)
Bongiorno (Italian)
Ni Hao (Chinese)
Konichiwa (Japanese)
Aloha (Modern Hawaiian? I don't know the exact origin of this one. Just that Aloha means both 'hello' and 'goodbye' in Hawaiian)
'Ellohay (Pig Latin)
Hithigellithigo (Gibberish)
Gutentag, (German)
G'day/Good Arvo (Australian)
hello
shalom (Hebrew)
hola
aloha
bonjour
guten tag (German)
just googled pig latin
i should have known about this earlier judging about how annoying it eemsay saying that.

English, Spanish, French and German.

Hola, que paso
Salut, bonjour, comment ca va
Stradsvyoicha
Gutentaag
Salaam, As-salaam Alaikum
Looks like six.
ETA: d'oh! I left off aloha, shalom and konichiwa, but I already voted, and I specifically tried to think of how to say hello in Japanese and Hebrew and came up empty-handed, so I guess it's close enough. I didn't even think of Hawaiian because it's a novelty language ;)

Konnichiwa
