And have lots of answering to do tonight!
And have lots of answering to do tonight!
When do they start signing up to DV?
And how did this happen?
And what evidence proves lucid dreaming is real?
I'm still skeptical.
Weren't there studies done that showed brain activity when someone was lucid, and when someone wasn't?
The only "evidence" I've read about is in Stephen LaBerge's book, where it showed he was in REM sleep but could make a controlled series of eye darts he said he was going to make before he slept.
Lucid dreaming is a myth. Stop spreading this new age bullshit :/
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, he's talking about his blog, showing the data from his Halograph FM invention. Y'all should check it out Halograph FM « LSDBase
At least I think that's what he's talking about.... it has almost 30,000 hits so....
hey man, what is the cue for this thread? without links, or infos .. !!
Check the post above your post and learn English.
They should be streaming into the newbie zone as we speak. Or lurking. :huh2:
I put a link on the front page of their internet.
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet.
What tommo said, plus I just registered a domain: LSDBase.org and made it more official.
The evidence is? I mean I will really have to be convinced here, because I have many many Lucid Dreams, none which think you have had any.
The interruption of REM by lucidity that was triggered by a song (which was triggered by REM).
But I understand your doubt, which is why one of my next hacks will be to blink a Morse Code or perhaps binary sequence that automatically transcribes in real time to: "F1RST P0ST!!" from within a dream.
Oh wow, that's fucking genius.
You're going to hear this a lot more from me lol Your ideas are just outstandingly creative.
Thank you, I try.
Speaking of creative ideas; I have been thinking about making waterproof versions of the halographs and halophones. You know, for users in samadhi tanks.
can you make a tutorial please, on how to make your things work
Hmmmm, dunno about that one.
Oh wait, do you mean just to see how the body/brain reacts etc? Not ot induce LD'ing specifically?
Coz floating is like an LD anyway lol
Speaking of which, I still need to finish mine. Goddamned pumps cost so much and I'm looking around for a cheaper one. Water heaters too, bloody ridiculously priced.
How did you do that?
Mind explaining what all the squiggly lines mean? This data is useless to me unless I have some sort of key to look at. Breathing and heartbeat, wat? Where? Also there is no scale, I have no idea how long any of these particular events go on for, and when you bring up a section of the recording to talk about, I can only vaguely assume what area you are referring to, because there's no frame of reference. Make it less confusing maybe, then more people might be able to appreciate it.
Yeah I agree with all that too Nina. That's why I have to keep asking questions haha Kind of hard to understand from a perspective of someone who doesn't actually know how it works to begin with. Or where you got the data from etc.
You have never been to the front page of the internet? ಠ_ಠ
I apologize for my poor explanations. The squiggly lines are just a representation of the amount of movement around my eyes. The scale is not relevant; it is somewhere in the µg range, which only confuses things further. The length is generally 60 seconds, unless stated otherwise.
Looking at 2011-09-22 – REM Rebound « LSDBase.org, for example, you will see 13 spikes, roughly every 3 seconds. These are blinks or rapid eye movements. The smaller blue spikes in between them are the heartbeat, but it is not very clear in that recording. The orange line (fREM) is when the program played the anthem (Halcyon +On +On by Orbital on that night).
The movements around my eyes were recorded by a halograph FM, a headband with a very sensitive motion detector that was plugged into a net-book running Lucid Scribe via USB cable.
Please let me know if you now understand a little better, as I keep trying different explanations to measure their effectiveness. Or if anything is still unclear. So that one day more people can appreciate it.
I understand what you're doing, but has anyone every verified these results other than yourself?
Yes, but nothing that has been published yet.
I am, however, working on this as we speak. Please let me know if you can get in touch with anyone that is able verify my findings (e.g.: LaBerge et al.).
