Haha I have no Canadian connections at all, I'm just visiting my girlfriend's parents. And they're English and just living here temporarily.
But I think I'm in love with Canada... Way better than scotland...

Ride @ Gemini Springs today. Only posting a few because my cellphone cam sucks and a lot of these didn't come out too well. =/
Spoiler for Pics:
Is that small road one of those bike track you were talking about a while ago?
Looks really fun to ride on :D
I feel I should fix up my bike now so the chain doesn't keep falling off.
It's easy to forget how fun riding is, coz it feels like something that you just do as a kid coz it's the easiest way to get to places.
Bikespiration! Thanks O.
Haha. You're welcome! And yes. That's one of those bike paths I was talking about. I'm just now realizing exactly how nice the trails they are making out here are. There is a large State project to build a lot of bike trails connecing some of the cities of Central Florida, so it would be a network of over 50 miles of trails that go in and out of state parks and waterways. This is just a small section of it, but I'm finding a lot of unconnected (yet) portions of it in my area, that I'm looking forward to riding. :>
Yes - it's a little-known fact (known only to me, and now to you.. ) that there's actually a supergigantic black hole under Florida. It sucks in everything built there eventually, which they attribute to "it sank into the Everglades". But now it's also sucking the Everglades in. Today the Everglades, tomorrow the world...
LOL @ Darkmatters.
All joking aside, though, the sinkholes are really bad around here. It's not uncommon to have your whole house, and a large part of your block dropped into the Earth, in a sinkhole. =/
And on that note, a few pics from today's ride:

Beautiful photos man, especially the first one.
Just remembered I had some I was gonna post here a while ago.
Actually I just went and took some more coz I only had ones of sky lol
I wish I took some yesterday of the sky though.... it almost looked like an rough ocean, with the clouds covering the whole sky, then on the horizon in a straight line was blue sky and the edge of the clouds looked like a crashing wave. Really crazy lol Totally dream like.
I have some bad quality ones on my mobile phone, but dunno if I can get them off easily.
But here are some other ones anyway.

Awesome pictures O!!
Sinkholes are bad news - I remember when I was a kid once we got this little hole in the driveway that kept getting bigger and bigger until one day it was big enough to literally swallow up the family car!! There was water trickling around down there too - turned out the water line to the house had developed a leak and the runoff ate away the dirt from underneath. I saw one on the street just a few years ago next to an Imo's Pizza - in fact come to think of it, I was riding to work at the time. It was just a hole maybe big enough to stick my fist in one day, then the next time I saw it it was a big depression in the blacktop with the hole a lot bigger in the center of it. Next time I rode by it was a big excavation with yellow tape all around it. Scary stuff!! The really crazy part is that it's actually a big cavern underground, and all you see on the surface is a little hole. Really dangerous.
Alright, no more jokes... no sense tempting fate!!
That first pic is beautiful O. When I first saw it I thought it must have come from somewhere other than... someone's everyday life. Edited at least.
Thanks, guys! And yeah, that's some crazy stuff about the sinkholes, DM. There's was one that opened up in the neighborhood next to mine, a few years ago, and almost completely swallowed someone's house. Traffic in that area was hell for like a month, while they tried to fix it before the house was completely gone. And Tommo, those are great pictures, too. I love the sky in the 3rd one. It looks so cartoonish. :)
@ Dianeva: Yup, that's Lake Monroe, which is maybe 15 miles or so from my house. We have to be careful out there, because that lake is extremely gator-infested (I had a dream last night, that my friend in the pic and I were back there at the lake again, and had seen some gators). I've actually been swimming in that lake once, years ago, but I will probably never do that again. :paranoid: Lol.
Picture overload. These are mostly from like December/early January I think.
Spoiler for Jeez :P:

Holy Crap, Erii. Can we get a spoiler tag, next time? :P
