That's so cool!
I live near the equator so there's no unexpected season or sunset/sunrise timing. It had been the same all my life.

whoa. sun at night? crazy... i do enjoy the complete darkness, but being able to go out at midnight and still have light would be cool.
though I can see that being a pain for sleep. i worked 3rd shift for two years, and that's the only thing i didn't like about it--going to sleep when the sun's up.
on another note, i really need to figure out a way to comfortably bring my camera on bike rides. the rear rack sucked, plus it was a POS and broke (i guess it was meant for a road bike). thinking maybe a chest pack, but asides from looking incredibly awkward i think it might be uncomfortable? bah.
Sefalik: you need some of those cool James Bond glasses with a built in camera
How big a camera are you thinking about carrying? A cell phone would fit into most patch kits that attach to your frame, and you can get other small packs that attach easily without being obtrusive. Unless you're planning on taking a SLR I doubt you would need much space. :-?
I worked for 3 years night shift and I liked the sunrise but after a few hours into the day I was happy to be asleep in the cool darkness. Nighttime was always more fun and visiting friends and enjoying parties on the weekends became quite easy on that schedule.
To each their own.
damn. i just realized. i've been so serious about that "i couldn't sleep on 3rd shift" bullshit that i even posted it here! i loved 3rd shift. my girlfriend at the time didn't. that's why i switched to 2nd, but i never wanted to tell people that (or tell myself i guess). i did like 3rd shift a lot. but i've grown to really liked 2nd shift too. although i have been thinking about switching back to 3rd. i probably won't, just cause i got a bunch of great guys working here on 2nd right now.
this is my camera. my cell phone is a POS, and i have a smaller camera but the photo quality sucks. i looked for a handlebar bag, but for some reason i gave up on the idea. i'd definitely prefer a frame mounted option over wearing it.

i usually like editing my photos so even when i had a good phone that took decent pictures, i'd never use it primarily as a camera.
and yea it's bulky, but it was free and takes pretty decent quality pictures.
My worst dreamsign showed up in real life again..

EDIT: I'm considering to clean it up and make a necklace hanger out of it.
What the hell is that? Other than something disgusting.... O.o
Well I am glad it is not my dream sign o.o
Looks like tooth to me. I have them too when I plucked out my wisdom teeth. No matter how much I tried cleaning, there was a bad decaying smell even though it's kept in a bottle so I threw it away.
Ended up my cousin told me I should have bleached it. But nah, not like the tooth fairy is going to come and grant me a wish if I kept them. :P
That's a full on rotten wisdom tooth indeed. I got my front teeth fixed and cleaned a few weeks ago yet this went unnoticed. It was only this week that I certainly got spikes of pain whilst eating, glad I got rid of it.
Now, I took a picture of my mouth, the hole is visible at the back:

After some simple editing, it could serve as a CD cover (for my genre that is, lol).

The last time I had wisdom tooth operation, my mouth went so puffy, and I took out 4 at one go, that I had to literally eat baby food for a couple of days. Felt like I was going to faint because I had lesser intake of food than usual.
I didn't manage to see clearly how swollen my gums were after the operation, good job there on taking a photo of your erm... Bleeding gums.
Ouch p: Well, I got this one removed, have two full ones and another one is showing a lil' bit from below the gum, but not fully.
I'm lucky I can chew with my left side as long as it hurts, but it feels okay so far. Only thing that annoys me is that it starts bleeding again when I smoke.. so about every hour xd
wrapped the camera bag around the handlebars for today's ride... i've done it before, and it works nice and is convenient, but if i hit a bump it goes flying up over the handlebars. so not great for technical trails. but worked nicely for the trail by my apt--all flat terrain, no real tech stuff. :)
Spoiler for excessive amount of pictures:
nope. that's eastern pennsylvania. :)

View from my window at night. Gonna take some pictures of Cambridge if the appalling weather stops before the end of term. Not sure if this is the right thread but whatever.
Sorry :(
