I don't know about you, but I'm tired of seeing the same 2-3 adjectives used for positive things over, and over, and over..
when someone- these days, rarely- uses the word "swell" you think "Leave it to Beaver" 1950s, right? and when you see "radical" it brings to mind the 1980s?
well here I am a 20 something in 2011 and I can't help but notice there are just two words that just about everyone uses to describe something positive: "awesome", and "epic".
I for one am SICK TO DEATH of these words. there are so many other words to express your fondness for something! why are we all using the same TWO goddamn words?
what do you think about this? have you noticed? are you also tired of these words? never thought of it until now? tell me! any thoughts on this at all, semantics, history, whatever- welcome! I want to know more about this :)
