I would start with the college website itself to see if you can qualify for a scholarship from the school. College board might help. What University are you thinking of attending or are attending?

I don't have too much info on this, due to having full tuition from ACT scores. Just have to pay room, board, food and books.

Sometimes I wonder if anyone has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

Dunno about America, but here, when we apply for a university, there is a separate website which handles pretty much every universities submissions. And we can submit a scholarship application through that website too.

I think you mostly get the scholarship if you're either incredibly smart, or have had incredibly bad circumstances in your life. Obviously if you think you deserve it, you should try anyway, even if you don't have any of those bas circumstances or a 180 IQ.

I'm actually talking about private scholarship, offered by credit unions, businesses and various organizations. For a lot of those you just need decent grades and some kind of reason why you think you deserve it. Usually you have to write an essay or have been a volunteer or done some kind of extra curricular activity or be some certain race or part of some organization. There are a lot of different scholarships out there.

Best (and only) three ways to get scholarships: Be smart, Be athletic, Be poor.

Even better? Be smart and poor. So far it's working well for me.

Look up subject-specific scholarships, too. I got a HUGE one that I didn't even know about in biology; one of the schools that accepted me gave it out immediately with their "total cost estimate", but the school that I actually WENT to requires that you apply, so I applied there and got an extra 4k for the next three years. Subject-specific scholarships are where you will get the absolute biggest amount of money.

For business scholarships, just go on the local business' website; that's where I found some of mine, like my local Credit Union. They have all of the info and applications online, and you can usually apply online as well. (I don't know of a 1-stop shop for those, but my guidance office had lots of applications on hand in high school).
