I have a 2011 new year's resolution, made yesterday, to get rid of this small bit of stomach and thigh fat that's been plaguing me for the last 6 years (and appeared after I went off adderall and was finally hungry for the first time again). And I exercised so much yesterday I'm hurting today, so yeah, I'm not going to stop. I've honestly just never really tried much. I'd try, but stop caring within a couple days and get hungry before bed and it would all be over.
Happy New Year!
Now it's time not to break the new year promises ;)
I'm not gonna smoke pot for a whole year. ... maybe.
I'm also gonna get back in shape and run the Steamtown Marathon again. This one is more likely
Made these a few days ago... let's see how long I can stick to them ¬_¬
- Get some decent grades in the GCSE exams I'm doing this year.
- Get to bed earlier so I'm not always late for school.
- Get my act together and study a foreign language that is not French, preferably Swedish. And also practice my French more.
- Don't stress as much over various stupid little things.
- Try to be nicer to people and not be moody and aggressive most days.
- Get more exercise
- Start Lucid Dreaming again!
never go to wallmart again.
- Make all possible entries in my DJ, even if I'm late to work and can only write a few words.
- Clean up all the random stuff around the house and organize it so that I can find what I'm looking for. ...eBay all of the crap I don't need.
- Complete my transition to a 100% organic diet and improve the balance of my intake of meats, vegetables, fruits, grains, and dairy.
- Identify and anchor a non-standard, non-binding relationship with someone. ...at a minimum, find a good reliable fuck buddy. :)
- Fix all the little issues with my truck that I have been neglecting over the last few years.
None. This way I won't be disappointed.
Work out daily.
- improve my French
- travel
- make my ultimate sexual fantasy a reality
So, how did it go with New Years promises? :)
For me the lucid dream training has been in periods. Forgot it for a few months, then picked it up and continued a few weeks or so until I lost it once again.
During this year, I've had about 4 lucid dreams..
The other new years promises I'd, was to be more social and to be more healthy.
THIS, I success great in. Been loads more social, got me a GF at the beginning of the year too, soon 1 year with her.
And started pump at the gym for about 4 months ago, and I'm still addicted and will keep going.
For this next new years promises, I will try take up lucid dreaming once for all.
In lucid dreaming, I will succeed doing the following:
* Writing dream journal daily, if I don't remember, I will write "I did not remember my dream" (but in my language) anyway.
(this of course, might not be possible EVERY single day, depending on situation, if I wouldn't have any paper/pen at that time or in super rush)
* Remembering to make reality checks everytime I wake up, to prevent false awakings
* Practise All Day Awareness and do reality checks during days. Not everyday, but I will put reminder to keep doing it every week atleast.
I had to check the last page to even remember what mine were. Coincidentally, I have done none of these things.
Get properly in to LD'ing again. - Nope, although recently I have started trying again.
Get a better job. - Nope, unemployed and quit the job I did have to travel lol
Get excellent marks at Uni. - Ended up not going to Uni coz it cost way too much.
And stop being such a fucking pussy. - Actually, I guess I've gotten a bit better :)
Okey :)
Well, also I wrote "New years promises". Didn't knew it was called "new year's resolutions" or so.
Anyway, nobody else who wanna share their new year's resolutions? It's about 3:40pm (15:40) here. So not very many hours left to 2013 for me :D
Also, I happend to have a lucid dream for 2 nights ago :) already started with my new year's resolutions by trying to remember write down the dreams when I wake up, and making reality checks.
Increase my Japanese language skills.
Practice my lucid dreaming a lot more.
Have a girlfriend
And to have superhuman powers!
Gonna get my shit together this year.
How it's going with the new year resolutions?
For me, I had these:
* Keep dream journal daily [COMPLETE] (or well, I'ts an habit and I'm sure it will keep up)
* Reality check when I wake up (haven't succeed to remember that)
* Practise All day awareness (haven't succeed to remember that)
So 1/3 is done, but it's still lots of months left.
But I really will keep on trying to remember reality check at mornings when I wake up, I believe soon I may have a false awaking and then it's really needed.
Also to practise all day awareness.
