If those were food, I'd never have to buy groceries again. I have enough to fill a pickup bed. lol
Hahahah awesome! I'm having Swamp People flashbacks..
Dude, anderj101, what did you do to that porterhouse? So....much...unnecessary...char.
Yay, meat...but it's time to cook it better. Because I care. :)
Get a grill pan. The grills allow the meat to cook with heat and not cause the juices to steam the meat which makes it tough.
Additionally, once you have your grill pan, take a finger pinch of sugar and gently sprinkle both sides lightly with sugar. This helps the grill marks look beautiful and doesn't make a noticeable change to the taste of your meat.
that steak looks burnt. lol
It was quite good. I heated a small amount of oil until it smoked, then drop, count to 30, flip, 30, plate. It came out medium in the middle and quite tender. The seasoning rub I put in it blackened and mostly fell off. The meat itself was not burnt or charred. I have a grill iron, but cannot use it in this stupid flat surfaced electric stove. One of these days, I hope to get a gas stove. :)
Y'all must be starving. ...or just eating ramen noodles and not posting that shiz.

Is it just shredded rotisserie chicken and spring greens, corn and olives, and italian dressing? It just looks so dang good.
Wow gab, that pasta looks amaaaaaaaaazing.
Recipe plz :teeth:
Haha the ingredients is pretty much the recipe itself coz so simple.
Bacon, green peas, double creamy feta, orzo pasta, kickin' chicken seasoning, garlic salt, jalapeno.
1. Fry the bacon and piece of jalapeno and half way through throw frozen (washed under warm water) green peas in it.
2. Throw in the cooked pasta (small shells or orzo recommended) and the seasonings.
3. If you want the cheese to melt more, put it in while pasta still hot.
Save some water you boiled the pasta in, in case the thing gets too dry for your taste. Just carefull in case you salted the water so you don't over salt the dish with it.
Btw I just reheated it a bit and cheese is still mostly holding its shape, so it may need your help whack it with the spoon to smaller, meltier chunks.
This salad is great hot or cold.
