Because the domain name was transferred to a Russian registrar.




I changed it to DSGROUP for the .gif, but it's not as funny as Russians so I changed it back.

I'd actually considered the same thing before the 'Soviet Russia' one appeared, but realised it wasn't very funny, not that I'd post a meme anyway even if I'd found it to be.

If the thought processes of MindGames were like mine, he's referring to the fact that we fought against the hackers and forced them to give up. In a way, it's like we 'hacked' them, in the sense that we fought against them, not that it has anything to do with hacking (and this is why it isn't funny). The fact that the hackers were based in Russia emphasises the humor slightly in using that particular joke.

Lol. I only asked why they have to be Russians, because this incident contributes to stereotype about Russians on the internet and since I happen to be one and seems like almost the only one on DV, I didn't like this fact. I feel kinda bad pointing it out to those who assumes I must be new here X)
