Didn't Lost Soul and Seri play that once upon a time?
I have no idea what the appeal is, since I have absolutely zero free time :(
The only online game I've played like that is Peasant's Quest. That was quite fun, and pretty easy. Of course, I did end up Googling for tips. This site came in very handy.
LMAO PEASANTS QUEST!!1
Yes. It's how we met, in fact. I haven't played it in years though. The appeal for me was the roleplaying aspect of the game (which doesn't seem to exist anymore--hence why I haven't played in years).Quote:

It looks cool, but I dont think I have the attention span. My husband hooks up with people from his work. I guess it's the commrodery for him sometimes. It's cool, whatever floats your boat.
I used to play Everquest! It was a blast and I was totally addicted to it about 4 years ago. It is how I met some good friends and my ex-boyfriend. I would probably still play it if I had the time and my old account. Since it was sold to Sony a few years back it has gotten too huge. I liked it when there was only one world to play on. I could not keep up with the computer requirments and stats that I needed to maintain a level 55 cleric. I do miss it sometimes. Actually wish I could play right now!!!!
Aw man...I was SO hooked about a year ago, all of my friends were in on it to.
But then it got boring and I did other things. :|
EDIT: Oops, I was thinking of Runescape, sorry.
i almost bought it once, but figured my computer isn't good enough. i used to play runescape for a while, but then it got really boring. the only games i'm hooked on right now are GTA:San Andreas, and MapleStory.
I totally miss it. But I also realize that it's not the game itself that I miss, but the community and storylines that we had created. I went back when Verant offered a free month to all the old players but it just wasn't the same. In all honesty, I have yet to find a game that measures up to my old EQ days.Quote:

For that free month, I rebuilt my character as a 55 mage. Previously, though, I was a cleric. In my time, I was the best damned cleric on the Rodcet Nife server. I knew my character inside and out. **brags like a proud mama** Still though, it wasn't so much the fighting and stuff that made it fun. It was the characters and the people behind the keyboard that made the game such a blast.
I totally agree with you. It was never fun to get online and play by yourself. I alwasy liked it when my clan members were on and would group up. I was on one of the largest servers so I was no were near the best Cleric in Fennin Ro. I also had other chers that I was lvl'ing so I didnt end up playing much... Awww the old Everquest!Quote:

I miss the storylines that LS, Seri, and I use to take part in.
