      What's Your Style?

Don't think I've actually seen this thread before. Do you care about what you look like? Do you try to create some kind of image? What do you like to wear in general?

I don't care what I look like nor do I try to create an image. For what I wear, I mainly like to wear anything that is comfortable.

I have absolutely no style at the moment. my everyday wear is jeans (really "unstyled" ones) and a blank t shirt. Hair status- buzzed, number 2. Next year I want to care about how I look a little more, because i feel really dull.

I'm still stuck with a lot of the boring black classic rock tees back from 10th grade (back when I was a goon), though I try to avoid the goonier ones now. I've been looking into something with a little more style (and shirts that aren't so baggy, enough of that shit). I've been looking for stuff in the vein of, say, Zumiez or Urban Outfitters (urban has some cool stuff but definitely overpriced), and also browsing the local thrift store for funny/unique shirts (for example, I found one with blue silouhetted mountains and a yellow sun that says "Glorious Kazakhstan"). So I guess I'm in that odd place where hipster and mainstream meet.

If I weren't so cheap/broke I'd probably buy more plain or striped long-sleeve tees... but I'm forced to stick to branded hoodies (back when that was the "cool" thing in high school I had some.) Now that I'm in the "real world" I've drifted more towards plain clothing, unflashy, but comfortable.

Plain jeans, long-sleeve striped tees/sweaters, or short-sleeve tees. Tennis shoes. Exciting, right? I get my hair cut to about 1 inch, and let it grow out for a couple months, then get it cut again.

My look has been called everything from Church Lady to Bohemian to Hippy. I'm most comfortable in long skirts or dresses with leggings under them.
When I'm home, I slip the skirt off and just wear the leggings.
My favorite shirt right now is long sleeved, brown and tight- it has a high neck, almost a turtle-neck but not quite. I wear a short sleeved, black, low cut shirt over top of it. I wash them often so I can wear the combo pretty much every day lol
When I'm out and about, I always wear a bandanna to keep my hair out of my eyes and the wind out of my ears
I LOVE sandals, but they tend to get gummy by the end of the summer, so a lot of times, I wear black socks with them. I prefer knee socks because my shoes tend to eat my socks otherwise

      **EDIT**
Oh yeah. I rarely do anything with my hair. I either keep it under the bandanna or I pull it back in a pony tail. If I'm going some place nice, I'll flip the pony tail over itself and pull it behind the band. Sometimes I'll do that twice (high pony tail, flipped; low pony tail with the high one added, then flipped). It takes me about 5 minutes either way.
I wear minimum makeup for fancier outings and Dr. appointments etc

I didn't care very much at all until I was, dunno, 16, 17? But since around then I've been quite conscious. I've kind of been progressing up the curve; quite often the stuff I bought a year or two ago will look lame to me, I think due to an increase in taste/pickiness. I often wear casual shirts or man cardigans over plain tees like this idiot:

Almost always wear jeans and I like them slim like these, but buying any that fit is a total pain in the arse as I'm something like 32 inches in the waist and 34 in the leg.

Shoes tend to be slim and dark... need a new pair of converses as mine are really battered now.

And about half a year ago I got a coat like this which I almost always wear cos it makes me a better person:

I don't think I have anything which isn't white, black, grey or blue.

I rarely shop but I was going to have a look tomorrow. I need some more jeans (my pairs from a couple of years ago look lame). Also need a nice casual shirt and skinny tie.

Basically I try to look tall and sharp.

Yeah I've always been meaning to get some band shirts, but I'm picky. I absolutely hate those single colour tees where they just slap the square album art on the front. Was going to buy this, actually:

Nothing to baggy, I go for the slim, smart look. I do like some emo looks and as far as 'inde' goes, I hate chinos as everyone wears them!

I don't really have a style per se, but...
Except in summer, I always wear jeans (almost always blue) and a t-shirt. The t-shirt can be Think Geek style, random cool image style, or just plain. My main criteria is that it is comfortable to wear.
I have shoulder-length hair that is untended, but clean. I shave only rarely, often wearing stubbles or even a beard, but I never style it.
When outside, I almost always wear a coat, preferably long enough to hang below the knees. I have a dark black woolen coat, a blue canvas coat and a light gray synthetic (kinda silk-like) coat, which I wear depending on the seasons. I also have a black leather trench coat on it's way from an online vendor in the US as we speak, but I don't yet know when I will be wearing it.
In the summer I will be wearing only shorts and a t-shirt, most of the time.

So do you refuse to conform by wearing denim jeans?

Your social circle must be quite well off... personally I associate chinos with upper class kids. One of my friends is a determined social climber and he's always wearing nice shirts, chinos, and suede shoes.

I care but I have no idea where to start, being lazy and everything so I'll just settle for shirt, shorts and slippers. And I look like I'm ready for the beach!

That is a bad-ass coat, Xei.

My style changes up here and there, but it's mostly consists of sporty shirts, wifebeaters, jerseys, sideways hats and baggy pants.

When it's cooler out, I usually wear zip-neck sweaters or button-downs. Had a nice leather jacket, but it got ruined :

I also like shirts with loud graphics all over them, preferably with either awesome comic characters or graffiti. An old favorite, collared, polyester button-down shirt that I used to have had this graphic of Spawn all over it, but it got too big, once I started loosing weight, and I had to give it up.

Also, one of my favorite shirts now has this on it:
