How do you know who you love more?

Why yes, what a stupid question indeed. "Surely you can tell who you love more?" one thinks.

However my friend mentioned love cannot be measured so how do you determine who you love more? How long you love the person? Time spent with that person (seeing that person everyday for example)? Memories made with that person? He said it isn't fair if there are two girls he likes but he doesn't get to see the girl he likes more frequently, however he gets to see the other girl everyday.

I told him you can always ask your unconscious since nobody knows you better than it. After you ask your unconscious, try to do a dream recall and you'll have your answer. I didn't exactly do it this way, but when I was almost ready to give up my crush, I dreamt of her and I started pondering again her significance to me. That's when I decided to confess and it didn't turn out too bad, I wasn't accepted though. Oh well.

Guess my friend isn't too interested in dreaming.

Sadly for my friend case I think he's a thinker more than a feeler. Maybe that's why.

Even for thinkers I think love is something that you have to go by feeling. It is an emotion. He just won't ACT on feeling emotion, so he's probably holding more back than you are.

As far as I know, you just "know" who you love the most. I think of it as "who would I sacrifice the most for". And if you can't say between someone, you probably love them equally.

I probably couldn't have said for sure a long time ago, but having had a family, I think it's when you realize that a person is worth giving all of yourself to, sharing any secret, being honest about any feeling, and they are so valuable to you that you would sacrifice all kinds of things just to have that person near you.

Love should never be something you give with half a heart.

I get asked this question all the time. You see, a lot of people get confused with 'lust' and 'love'. When you compare both of these boys side by side, who do you like more on an emotional level. Which one is there to console you more when you need it. Who makes you smile without you even realizing it when you think about them? The one you care about more on an emotional level, and the one who shows more friendship/care back is the one you should follow your heart with. Not the one you think about when you're lonely or in need.. if you get my point

. In my opinion, follow your heart. Your heart is the only one who can answer that question. Not us. We can only guide you.
