Happy easter, all!
Happy Easter, humans.

Happy Easter even though I just got dragged to a mass which I don't really believe in.... A whole hour of my morning, gone :(
Happy Easter!

I've never celebrated Easter before though. What do everyone usually do?
I think I earned a couple atheist points by not knowing it was Easter until it was pointed out to me.
Anyway, Happy Pagan Spring Goddess Day.
Cristo ha muerto, Cristo ha resucitado, Cristo vendrá otra vez.
He is Risen!
English, motherfucker, do you speak it?
(sorry just quoting pulp fiction 'cause it's a great movie)
Hey your avatar. It's a belgian artist who made that! :)
I think I like Dali better, though would never want a Dali hanging in my room or I would get feverish nightmares each night. :)
Maybe he made this one for easter:

Orrr maybe he saw through this pagan holiday!
"Pagan holiday"? Cracks knuckles, then decides to avoid the inevitable
:cheeky: But yes, that could very well be Dali's Easter project.
INTERESTING FACT - Due to Dali's religious and right-wing views, he started quite a schism within the usually left wing, anti-clerical surrealists such as Bunuel.
What are the origins of Easter?
Cool I didn't know he was this rightist.
INTERESTING FACT: that painting I showed you has been attacked by a visitor in an art gallery in Glasgow. He threw a stone at it and ripped it open!
Yeah yeah OK...
Yes Dali was very rightist, he actually supported most of the fascist regimes of Europe in that time!
And on the fact - Who destroys something that beautiful? I'm assuming the vandal had some sort of mental condition which explains the action?
oh wow a fascist. Well.
I'm not sure. "A visitor with learning difficulties"; Another site says "mentally disturbed".
But the acquisition of the work was also controversial because some people believed that the money should have been spent on local artists.
