I'm grateful that these always start out in the USA.

Am posting updates here as I find stuff:

At this point, I'm not ruling out any possibilities until more information gets proliferated.

Honestly, at this point you people just won't be able to cope if civilization ends any other way, will you? If the fucking Daleks invade or the entire world gets covered in carnivorous jam, you'll have to make papier-mâché zombie facsimiles just to get through the day.

I have contingency plans for other scenarios.

This is just step one: utilizing a larger network and reaching out to as many people as possible if it seems things could take a turn for something awful.

Awareness and readiness is a means of prevention in a scenario like this. Honestly, I almost didn't post anything to DV, but I figured the worst it could do is tarnish any credibility I have. No big deal if it means potentially helping people, yeah?

Well, if I die, I hope I'm in a lucid dream because if this turns out like the books and movies, it won't be contained.

Truthfully, though, it shouldn't be an issue if everyone stays constantly alert and aware of their environment. Which you all should be doing anyways if you're into that whole LDing thing.

I had a dream last night that I was gearing up and going out into the wilderness with a few other people. Based on what I can still remember it had something to do with my experience thus far with DayZ. Funny timing.
