Ok what if we discovered another planet far far away from earth but we have the technology to get you there in 1month. The planet is 10 times bigger than earth will double amount of the land. It has the basically the same animals and materials earth had. Now my question is would you go? why or why not :shock:
And dont worry there's a set economy and government system all set up
Well... if we just discovered it then it's probably in a better shape than the current Earth... so why not.
But if it's the same otherwise, then that's the only reason why i would go.

I wouldn't go, because on a planet 10 times larger than Earth, the gravity would preclude such luxuries as being able to walk around, and would probably prevent blood circulation, leading to a rather quick death.

Exploring newly discovered earth-like worlds: this isn't really a question for me. It would be more of the natural course of an uncontrollable inclination than a choice.
What about the natives and animals that live there?
If the planet were a bit smaller, like... between 50% and 150% of earth's size...

There's a flaw to this, because diamond will become so abundant, it would no longer be valuable, also, making a home would be very hard since the main component of the planet is diamond.Quote:

Now, if you asked me if I wanted to be among the first civilian colonists on the moon, well that's a different story.
by passing satellites past it we can calculate its weight and look at light spectrums from the planet. Mars is 0.15 times earths volume but 0.1 times earths mass, the same could be applied to this 10 times bigger planet. Its all astrophysics.Quote:

3.2G is still pretty intense gravity to be living under. It would make falls more intense for one thing. The plus size is that we'd need robots to do any kind of heavy lifting.
If we survived there for a year and came back to Earth, we'd be the strongest people on Earth!Quote:
