Strong sig pic to thread correlation.
When did you change your name, Omnis?
Dear Om (op) seroquil and Mzzkc
Below is flickr link to my 11-August-2011 dream-sync photo and Sound. This is an amazing sound. It is the call to prayer and the visual is the gigantic visionary clock that super-dwarfs Allah's house (at Macca), built to honour Allah.
Enjoy:
Welcome to Flickr!
I hope the link takes you to my rv target and not just to flickr but I am on my phone and wont know till tomorow when I get to an Internet Cafe.
Stop trying to be multi cultural by pretending to be aware of key times in other religions. It's pathetic.
Yes only Muslims are allowed to know when Ramadan is. Sorry about that guys.
Hi Original Poster
Here in Adelaide the fast of Ramadan began on Friday, the 20th of July and will continue for 30 days until Saturday, the 18h of August.
For North America this year Ramadan began a day later - on Saturday, the 21st of July.
Our day begins just after midnight but in the Islam contries the day begins just after sunset.
So observing Muslims began to celebrate Ramadan on the sunset of Thursday, the 19th of July.
Although Ramadan is always on the same day of the Islamic calendar, the date on the Gregorian calendar varies from year to year, since the Gregorian calendar is a solar calendar and the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar. This difference means Ramadan moves in the Gregorian calendar approximately 11 days every year.
The date of Ramadan may also vary from country to country depending on whether the moon has been sighted or not.

I like the way the old day dies at sunset and after sunset the new day is concieved and begins gestating through the darkness. Like a baby.
My muslim friends get up before dawn to pray and eat. Then from dawn till dusk they don't eat and a few even won't drink water till after sunset.
After sunset the Muslim restraunt, on my block, is full of happy muslims families.
Adelaide is very multycultural.
As a Muslim, I want to thank you for the Ramadan well wishes :-)
I agree with the 2nd poster though, your sig-posting correlation is amusing!
I wish you well, too. And everyone else in the forum who may read this.
Lol, Islam.
Lol, religion.
Happy Ramadon't
