The man who's in everyone's dreams... (Real or Fake)

In 2000, a psychiatric patient drew a picture of a man who appeared in recurring dreams. The picture was left out on the doctor’s desk, where another patient recognized it from his dreams as well! With a bit of investigation, other patients who saw the same face in their dreams were found. As of now, at least 2,000 people recognize the face as one they’ve dreamed about. And I'm really curious if he's part of our collective unconscious, why can't our collective unconscious gives us someone nicer looking? I mean we are all visual creatures, we tend to prefer someone who is more pleasant looking.

Yes Crashyy that was the man everyone apparently sees in their dreams at least once, sorry about the link that was my first attempt to link something. However the theorie behind it is that the maker of the original site which. You posted first is apparently a maker or fake websites (forgot the correct name) so it is a possibility it is fake, but I believe there is a movie coming out which is based on 'this man'. But it will get more and more popular now because all the tension and wonder around It will now make people dream about this man. I read an interesting religous theorie that this was actually a person who God manifests himself into... The stories just keep on coming and coming

So you're implying the story about the man isn't real? But it's really possible that half the world will start dreaming about him if they come into contact with his drawing and stories about him. If he does live a strong impact into their minds.

Nope. Never dreamed of him before. But he does sort of remind me of a Mad Magazine picture or cover. That's the first thing that popped into my head anyhow

I think we've discussed this enough and came to the conclusion that it's myth. There are multiple threads out on the forum related to "this man", but for some reason the search function is messed up at the moment. Anyways, thread closed.....have a great day.
