I'm impressed . . . thanks

Hi out there . . .

I'm not a great joiner, and usually think social media and chat sites are absolute crap, and totally irrelevant to my needs. I only have FaceBook & My Space (anon) as an absolute necessity for serious connections (musical, usually) that can't be done otherwise.

So, since I was directed here yesterday I've been totally blown away - so far it's got just about all I need - and even intelligent thoughtful commenters and contributors. I just may dig my heels in here for a while . . . I had planned to get busy this Friday afternoon, but there's always something that grabs my attention before I can get off me butt, so, I'll just grab another coffee, again, and I've got some double chocolate cake with thickened cream poured over it, so there goes my waist, and there goes Friday night TV (only ABC and SBS, ever). Maybe even a delivered pizza, which I swore I'd never do again . . . LOL. May have to do a thirty Kilometer cycle ride tomorrow.

Hope to catch up with many of you down the track.

What do you mean?

I also think DreamViews is a great forum because it's just beyond the line of social media, while there is likes and the senseless banter section you can always go to one of the more serious sub-forums and have a good discussion if you want and the atmosphere is really great.

He never said that facebook was irrelevant, he just said that usually he thinks social media is irrelevant to his needs.

Welcome to DreamViews. I myself use social networking quite a bit, but I don't think that I will ever again come across a website that will change my life as much as this one has. Yes, there are intelligent people here, and you can discuss some of the most important issues on the face of this planet, but things can get pretty silly here too... Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here!
